Australians are outraged. I feel calm. On 16th of January 2021, I started my first daily question for Tharnicaa and Kopika. Shortly after I found 2021 Human Rights Watch World Report. I made a series of threads that taught me what a nightmare we are in. #Justice4Australia 1/15
I was attacked by trolls. I was even called a ‘political pedophile’. Through #HomeToBilo, Priya and Nades gave me permission to continue. Although I took a step back and made threads on some of the best things I’ve learnt from Psychology the past 20 years. 2/15
Now 12 weeks later, I finally made ‘one tweet’ with a Nelson Mandela quote that includes this all: All of Australia’s violations of Human Rights and Tools for Wellbeing (please see below). I could share more but what is the point? 3/15
My partner is 4th Dan Black Belt Filipino Martial Arts. Following his one instruction I won Kali 3D International Filipino Martial Arts Tournament even against 50 men! I was crowned “Hurricane Lou”. If I have learnt anything from him it is stick to the basics during combat. 4/15
Always stay calm: remain plain, simple and satisfied. If I applied this to psychology there is one basic premise. All of our stories share the same trauma: the negative operation of power (ie. a family member, educators, employers, governments, religious institutions, wars). 5/15
The first time I spoke truth was during my PhD back in 2012. I was silenced. I ended up hospitalised with psychosis. A decade later my voice is loud and clear. What is truth? Safety, freedom, health, wellbeing are basic human rights. Far too many of us have been denied them. 6/15
The solutions are also basic. However, without power nothing can be achieved. I feel calm because Tharnicaa and Kopika have taught me in twelve weeks more than I’ve learnt in my lifetime. They have helped me to understand Australia’s issues. 7/15
They have inspired me everyday to find simple, straightforward and inclusive solutions. I feel calm because I have the freedom to share my story with my whole heart. I feel calm because what took me 20 years to learn we now have it all available for all for free. 8/15
Your smart phone is your greatest weapon. The whole world is in the palm of our hands. While I may not be able to change all of Australia completely, I do receive messages daily that I have helped many personally. If I could give Australia one gift it would be ‘clarity’. 9/15
Your body only needs health. It doesn’t care what you look like. Similarly, your mind needs only clarity: to see things just the way they are. Australia’s problem is that many people in power have confidence without clarity. Confidence without clarity is disastrous. 10/15
Confidence without clarity has destroyed this planet. Clarity knows this truth. The byproduct of clarity is peace. Joy is simply peace dancing. In their order of intensity of arousal with clarity you will experience: peace, joy, love, compassion, blissfulness and ecstasy. 11/15
Clarity is to be extra “ordinary”. Like children and animals, their intelligence is extraordinary. How in touch they are with life. I feel calm because clarity saved my life. I feel calm because Grace Tame, Brittany Higgins and Kate Thornton finally opened pandora’s box. 12/15
This moment is unprecedented. Every break down has the potential to lead to a break through. If we have the courage and commitment we can use this moment for us all. With clarity we can recreate Australia based on truth: science and compassion. 13/15
So don’t seek happiness! Seek Clarity. Bookmark my tweet (below) with Nelson Mandela’s quote: “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” It has all the basics you’ll need for clarity. For any emergency: 000. For mental health or suicide crisis support Lifeline: 131114. 14/15
It’s time we shift from ‘self-esteem’ - survival of the fittest (fight, fight, freeze) - to ‘self-compassion’ - enlightenment (kindness, common humanity, mindfulness). The greatest power is our shared awareness, compassion and action. #EnoughIsEnough #Justice4Australia 15/15

👇🏼Thread: #Justice4Australia. ‘Bookmark’ this tweet. All: ‘violations of abuse’ with ‘world standard concrete recommendations’. Plus: ‘Tools for Wellbeing’. As nothing will ever change without clarity. A shift from the head to the heart: awareness, compassion and action. #Auspol

It’s me, Tharnicaa. Kopika and I are ready to cheer you all on! We’ve been detained by the Australian Government for 1118 days. What will it be like when we all have #Justice4Australia? #EnoughIsEnough #Auspol

Good morning. It’s me, Tharnicaa. Kopika’s getting her pom poms to cheer you all on. We’ve been detained by the Australian Government for 1118 days. Did you think we will ever have #Justice4Australia? #EnoughIsEnough #Auspol

If anyone wants to know why I made #Justice4Australia it is because there has been some conflicts. This is a broad neutral name so that any group can share the tweets (see below). #EnoughIsEnough #Auspol

#Justice4Australia: Can I ask one request? Australia’s human rights ‘violations of abuse’ with ‘concrete recommendations’ at ‘world standards’ are all in the ‘2021 Human Rights Watch World Report: Australia.’ This is a clear, inclusive and straightforward path: 1/10 #AusUPR20
For First Nations people, refugees, women, children, elderly, disabilities, minorities, health, poverty, housing, climate change. Aka. Everything. I made #Justice4Australia to include all of Australia’s injustices because a lot of different groups are/have formed. 2/10
So this is my request: As you fight for justice please consider this document. It has every topic we have all been fighting for: some for months, years, and decades. As you fight for justice please consider adding the hashtag #Justice4Australia next to your hashtag. Why? 3/10
