Mr Morrison is lying.

His Ministers can grant permanent visas for any reason they want.

But they won't even give QLD-born 4 year old Tharni the same temporary visa they gave her mum, dad & sister.

That's how they're stopping her family coming safely #HometoBilo

During the 2019 election campaign, on QLD-born Kopi & Tharni's 429th day in a Melbourne detention centre, @ScottMorrisonMP told Australians: "ultimately, we've got every child out of detention."

Our Biloela girls were detained for another 669 days on his watch.

By day 1198 Tharni was so sick she had to be airlifted from Xmas Island to a Perth hospital. She's still in "community detention".

During the 3 years Kopi & Tharni were detained, MPs & Senators told Parliament & the public there were no kids in detention at least 25 times.

On 30/5/2018, Andrew Hastie MP told Parliament "there is something we all are very proud of: we've removed all children from detention".

BREAKING: #HomeToBilo family unable to return to QLD despite new visas
Today @AlexHawkeMP used Migration Act powers to grant 12-month bridging visas to 3 members of the Biloela family. However Tharni has not been provided a visa. The family remains in “community detention". 1/ Thursday 23 September 2021 BREAKING: Biloela family unable
By continuing to withhold a bridging visa from Tharni, Mr Hawke is preventing the family from coming home to the QLD town of Biloela.
Last week, the Minister made an undertaking to the Federal Circuit Court to issue 3 month bridging visas to Priya and Nades and Kopika.

We are “surprised” by the Minister’s decision to now grant 12-month visas to three of the four family members, while continuing to withhold a bridging visa for Tharni, which would allow the family to return to Biloela. 3/

Guess what @ScottMorrisonMP and @AlexHawkeMP!? Tharnicaa has the same birthday as Ann Frank: one of the most discussed victims of Holocaust! In 1940, after Germany invaded the Netherlands, Anne and her family couldn’t leave the country, 1/14 @AlexWodak @hbowly #HomeToBilo Image

In case anyone in Australia is still surprised that a toddler had to be airlifted from an Australian detention centre for medical treatment - don't be. (Thread 1/10)

I've been reporting on this child and her health since 2018 when she was 14 months old. Here's my first story on her, which features a doctor - even then - citing concerns for her welfare. (2/10) crikey.com.au/2018/09/25/bil…

What is #Justice4Australia? I joined Twitter to see if Trump would win or lose the US election. I had not watched the news or followed politics for years; too much, too soon had made me unwell: Psychosis. I saw Trump’s tweets and thought, ‘Is this guy for real!? 1/36
I had no clue then I would be thanking him now. Trump introduced me to the wonderful world of Twitter; incredibly talented minds constantly fact checking his tweets. Journalists, lawyers, doctors, psychologists, professors. Others with no qualifications equally impressive. 2/36
It was so refreshing to read quality responses, to see humour used to make people feel safe in a world seemingly, increasingly mad, and available to people all around the world for free. I did not know Tharnicaa and Kopika would bring me towards 3/36

Knowledge is Power: Education is not intended to fill a container with knowledge. It is intended to light the fire of justice within you. The term ‘Philosophy’ in Doctor of Philosophy does not mean the field or academic discipline of Philosophy; 1/75 #Justice4Australia
it means in the broadest sense, with its original Greek meaning, ‘love of wisdom.’ I write this NOT as a Psychologist as there is limits within any profession. I write this as a human being in the broadest sense in accordance with love of wisdom. 2/75
Throughout history it was been a privilege and more importantly a responsibility to share the truth for justice. For example, ‘homosexuality’ was recently considered an illness in Psychiatry; listed in the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. 3/75

Australians are outraged. I feel calm. On 16th of January 2021, I started my first daily question for Tharnicaa and Kopika. Shortly after I found 2021 Human Rights Watch World Report. I made a series of threads that taught me what a nightmare we are in. #Justice4Australia 1/15
I was attacked by trolls. I was even called a ‘political pedophile’. Through #HomeToBilo, Priya and Nades gave me permission to continue. Although I took a step back and made threads on some of the best things I’ve learnt from Psychology the past 20 years. 2/15
Now 12 weeks later, I finally made ‘one tweet’ with a Nelson Mandela quote that includes this all: All of Australia’s violations of Human Rights and Tools for Wellbeing (please see below). I could share more but what is the point? 3/15

Is it appropriate to give Tharnicaa a voice? Firstly, I would like everyone to know that I consulted #HomeToBilo when I began the daily questions. Their parents know I ask them. #HomeToBilo regularly speaks to them and shares your support. 1/7 #TimeForAHome #HomeToBilo #Auspol
Secondly, I have tried to be very careful what questions I ask. By keeping them simple. Importantly, I have never answered on their behalf. I only ask. The idea was inspired by ‘Writing Through Fences’ where Australians and people in Immigration detentions became pen pals. 2/7
The intentions of this campaign are to: give Tharnicaa and Kopika a voice; raise awareness of Australia’s cruel and unlawful refugee policy; create a way they have thousands of messages of support; and humanise those we have too often been conditioned to see as a threat. 3/7
