Cyanocobalamin - Vitamin B12

This is most commonly used oral supplement of vitamin B12 found most of vitamin Bcomplex tablets

If you are in to spiritual sadhana or in to satvik style of eating. Please inform your doctor as this may or may not suit your gut 1/2
Cyanocobalamin is derived from animal source in Gelatine form predominantly from beef liver

Only very few vegetarian source for Vit B12 except cheddar cheese, fortified yeast or cereals

If you need this consumed as medicine go as per doctors advice as this is most effective
Methylcobalamin is a substitute who prefer to avoid cyanocobalamin but it absorption is slightly different and less compared to the former

This is mostly found in fresh cows milk more in desi gir cows

This again not suitable for vegans
If you are looking for plant based source vitamin B12 are found very meagre on the following
-Spinach leaves
-Cabbage
-Kidney beans

Traditional folks managed this deficiency by consuming sour and fermented foods in their diet as follows
- Sour yogurt utilised in porridge or in breakfast recipes like dhokla etc
- Fermented batter using soaked beans or bean flour
-Idlis / dosage made from aged fermented batter with sprouted beans / bean flour
This gives some reasonable competition to cyanocobalamin and also with loads of folates

Expectant mothers should avoid these natural source as they would be already in folic acid supplements
Medicine has no vegan classification as it's prime purpose is to treat you in best possible source

It's generally good to disclose your dietary choices to your gp as it gives them holistic view about your gut
Our elderly has something to teach explicitly or implicitly

My 95 YO grandma had laser sharp cognition until her last breath and she was no onion garlic satvik vegetarian

Her secret was in her diet after finishing her daily surya namaskar she consumed 4 days sour buttermilk
She was making handpounded chilli powder until before day of demise

Though we has mixes or grinder she used traditional stone grinding atleast for her meal

Her energy levels was of 50's when she was in 90's
Many household had these healthy grandma and grandpa

Summer Hydration Tip :

Summer heat exhaustion impacts our health & makes one tired

To Prevent :

- Set water drinking reminder
- Drink fresh water
- Avoid ice water
- Drink mud pot stored water with herbal infusion ( Khus / Tulsi / Chia seeds) at start of day 1/n
- Drink Lemon juice daily at afternoon with a pinch of Himalayan salt
- Avoid spicy and deep fried foods
- Include more greens of all types
