The Justices rejected a lawsuit brought by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL), a right-wing group backed by the billionaire Bradley family foundation. gregpalast.com/wisconsin-cour…
On Sept 23, 2020, @BlackVotersMtr issued a report by the Palast Investigative Fund which proved that 39,722 voters they claimed had moved away from the registration addresses, had not, in fact, moved at all. gregpalast.com/wisconsin-cour…

To understand how this mass attack on voting rights will work, we have to go back to Dec 21, just before the Georgia Senate runoffs, when True the Vote challenged the right of 364,541 Georgians to cast ballots... #SB202gregpalast.com/hidden-horrors…
County elections boards rejected the challenges, noting that the numbers were too huge to be credible.
One voter can challenge another if they have personal knowledge that the other voter is a fraud. The local shills used by True the Vote knew nothing of those they challenged.
But #SB202 specifically authorizes unlimited challenges and True the Vote is crowing that Georgia Secretary of State Raffensperger has virtually invited them to challenge more voters. gregpalast.com/hidden-horrors…
Remember my @DemocracyNow report on that gutsy little non-profit bank that took on Goldman Sachs? The Lower East Side People's Federal Credit Union (@LESPeoplesFCU) is owned by its customers, including Occupy Wall Street, 80% low-income Hispanics... gregpalast.com/goldman-sachs-…
You can help them out, stick it to Goldman, and put cash in your pocket by applying for a Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loan this week through them. lespeoples.org/small-business…
Biden’s new #COVIDRelief bill allows gig workers like me to get a loan equal to about 21% of your annual REVENUE shown on your Schedule C. It’s a loan you don’t have to pay back! (Thanks Joe!) And the Credit Union gets a fee for each loan. Help yourself—and fund the revolution!
Andrew Cuomo’s scumbaggery started early with his self-dealing as Housing Secretary (exposed by investigator Wayne Barrett). forbes.com/sites/adamandr…
Cuomo screwed the electricity and gas customers of NY state by selling off the Long Island Power Authority to incompetent power privateers, whose energy plan pleasured those same blackout bandits from Texas (who then funded Andrew’s campaigns). gregpalast.com/texas-gets-lay…
Every state in America interconnects their power lines to provide back-up in case of emergencies — except #Texas. To prevent federal regulation, Texas deliberately refused to connect its lines to other states. #TexasFreeze#TexasPowerOutagegregpalast.com/texas-gets-lay…
The federal government, which has restored a modicum of protection, can only police utilities that are connected to the national grid. So, Texas literally cut itself of from the rest of the USA’s electric system.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott blames windmills for this week’s deadly disaster. Some wind farms froze — but they manage to keep 'em going in the Antarctic! nsf.gov/news/mmg/mmg_d…
Until 1992, the US had just about the lowest electricity prices in the world and the most reliable system. Power companies were limited by law to recovering their provable costs plus a “reasonable" profit. But then George HW Bush deregulated the industry. gregpalast.com/texas-gets-lay…
“Deregulate” is a misnomer. “De-criminalize” describes it best. With the “free market” supposedly setting the price of power, Texas-based Enron was free to blow prices through the roof when weather shut down power plants. gregpalast.com/texas-gets-lay…
For 100 years, electric prices were based on power company costs and “a reasonable profit.“ But in the 90s, a chuckling Chimp, Gov. Dubya Bush, dancing for his organ grinder Enron’s Ken Lay, created the “free“ market in electricity in Texas. thedailybeast.com/dollar5152-pow…
Back then, in a guide I wrote for the United Nations entitled “Democracy and Regulation,“ I warned that a free market would become a “freeze” market. This week is not the first electricity nightmare for Texas. amazon.com/Democracy-Regu…
You’ve only got one wire going into your house — what we economists used to call “a natural monopoly.” Now it’s an unnatural monopoly, where they’ve got us by the bulbs. #TexasPowerOutage#TexasBlizzard2021#TexasFreeze
