1. When I was about 7, my dad taught me how to act if I got arrested. He was a person without ambiguity. He was also a police commissioner and knew that arrests are dangerous moments. Everyone plays a role in everyone going home. I looked at the video. Young black officer
2. was being civil but tipped the arrest without backup near him. The suspect was struggling just slightly and the arresting officer appeared to be communicating with him, I think he asked him to cooperate. Then he bolted. What followed was apparently an accidental shooting.
3. The officer who fired knew it was wrong. Why a young person would flee in that circumstance is unclear to me. I can imagine reasons but will wait to see what the investigation shows.
93, After my brother convicted officer Lozano of shooting an unarmed black motor cyclist
4. killing his passenger, nobody raised that Miami had rioted after the shooting until the Florida appeals court raised it on appeal sua sponte. (on it's own). So Offier Lozano got a retrial. Venue changed because Miami rioted. My brother retried the case and lost in Orlando.
5. It was the first felony case he ever lost. The next day John went on TV and implored the community to not riot. He said that they took the case away because Miami rioted. If people remained calm they could never do it again. Miami stayed peaceful and the era of
6. the 1980s Miami police shooting riots ended. Everyone might remember that tonight and in the coming days. If you riot, Chauvin may get a new trial. We need to address everything. But we can only solve our problems peacefully.

1. Why do we allow police to be in unions? First, they cannot legally strike. Comp & work rules are by arbitration. Second, they are not workers in the classic sense. They carry the right to kill citizens based on their authority. They swear an oath to uphold the people's rights.
2. Would we tolerate the military forming a union? They are sworn to uphold the same rights but they are not paid overtime and don't have a union. IMO we need to pay police top salaries and end all overtime. Hire them as management and subject to review for advancement.
3. They should have rights to prevent arbitrary discipline and termination and have their discipline determined judicially like the military. But anyone carrying a firearm for "the state" needs to act like military members with no right to avoid daily responsibility for failings.

1. Do you think Putin's crew knows about "The Trading with the Enemy Act?" It applies to nations and its nationals if the US is "at war" with the nation. It doesn't define "at war" as far as I can see. I searched for the term "at war." Found this is still in the books:

1. Why is Trump concerned about John Durham? First, his appointment violated DOJ regs that required he be unconnected to DOJ.
"The Special Counsel shall be selected from outside the United States Government."
28 CFR 28 CFR § 600.3 - Qualifications of the Special Counsel.
2. As the US Attorney for CN he accepted an appointment that violated the law and on that grounds could be removed and investigated for an ethics violation. So why is everyone being quiet at DOJ @JudiciaryDems and in the Beltway echo chamber?
3. My guess is that Durham agreed to accept the unlawful appointment because he believed the keeping Trump placated was advancing the cause of Justice. Is he actually engaged in an investigation of Trump's Russian conspiracy in 2016? If he were that might be a reason to keep
