The history also tells your doctor what health issues you may be at risk for in the future.
What influences a person's family health?

- Genetics,

- Diet.
Disorders such as heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, certain cancers, CKD & diabetes are some examples of acquired disorders from the family.

Try to know yours & modify your diet as soon as possible.

Being Overweight & being Obese have huge similarities but SLIGHTLY DIFFERS

A Thread 👇
I'll explain this using Body Mass Index (BMI)
If your BMI is above normal, you may be at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes, as well as other metabolic diseases such as hypertension, high cholesterol & heart disease.
The difference between Being Overweight & being Obese all lies with their BMI values

a BMI of 18.4 - 24.9 kg/m² is considered Normal

..

Then a BMI of 25 - 29.9 kg/m² is considered Overweight

BUT BMIs above 29.9kg/m² are considered as being Obese

Inflammation is the origin of ALL Diseases In the Body.

BEST WAYS TO MINIMIZE INFLAMMATION?

Lemme explain what Inflammation is before talking about the topic.

When the body's white blood cells detects an intruder/foreign body, it launches a biological response to get rid of it Image
The intruder could be a foreign body eg Allergens, an irritant, virus, bacteria, fungi & other microbes dar can cause infection

Atimes, the body MISTAKENLY perceives its own cells or tissues as harmful. This reaction can lead to autoimmune diseases, such as type 1 DM, Arthritis
5 key SIGNS of inflammation:

PAIN: This may occur continuously or only when a person touches the affected area.

REDNESS: This happens because of an increase in the blood supply to the capillaries in the area.

LOSS OF FUNCTION : There may be difficulty moving a joint, breathing Image
