A Life with Quran - Practical Quran Family Tips :)
1. Recite Quran 20 mins a day. Start with reciting juzz amma until it becomes fluent and then move to next juz until that becomes fluent and so on.
2. Have a plan to memorise the Quran in 5 years. Think positive. Think that you could either die whilst trying to memorise Quran or die without any intention to memorise Quran.
3. Every family should have a Quranic plan: everyday give your family half an hour to do Quran Tadabbur and contemplate on the meanings of the Quran. One person recite the Arabic and one read the translation- reflect over the Quran.
4. Encourage your children to memorise Quran whilst young. There is a huge difference to the hifdh of one who memorises whilst young and the one who memorises when older.
5. Saying that, you are never too old to memorise Quran. The only difference between you and the one who has memorises Quran is the effort that they and you have put into memorising.
Oh Allah, give us and our families tawfeeq to integrate the Quran, studying and memorising it, in our homes, Ameen.

Today, I want to remind you all that there are different forms of piety we don't pay attention to and overlook everyday.
Piety and worship of Allah is not limited to Taraweeh and khatams of Quran during Ramadan.
As Muslims we sometimes tend to have a tunnel vision of what it means to be pious. We may see Muslim influencers and daees and expect to be like them and consider them as people who alone have a good standing with Allah.
Consider them the people whose Ibadah and duas will be accepted, while our ibadah and our duas may not be heard or rejected. We see highlight reel of others and compare it with behind the scenes of our life.
3 hours not to be missed during Ramadan π
There are three hours each day in Ramadan not to be missed at all costs.

β‘οΈFirst Hour --- Hour before breaking your fast
Prepare your meal early and dedicate this time for dua because the supplication of a fasting person before he breaks his fast is never rejected. Pray for yourself, your loved ones and the whole Ummah.
And don't forget our brothers and sisters being oppressed around the world and those who have passed away among the Muslims as they need your dua.
Some activities for my sisters who're having menstruation in Ramadan. hope it benefits you
.
1.First of all - say Alhamdulillah, instead of saying damn period for it's blessing bcz you're getting reward every single moment for obeying Allah's order by not keeping fast.
. 2. Start everything with 'Bismillah' 3. Memorise 99 names of Allah.
. 4. You may feel upset for being unable to read Qur'an but read surah Ikhlas - it's equivalent to one-third of the Qurβaan. If you recite 3 times at once, it'll be equal to completing whole Qur'an. read more.
. 5. Do lots of dhikir. 6. Do istigfar - Astagfirullah! . 7. Memorise short duas with meaning [Broken Verses] 8. Read hadiths which is written in other language than the Arabic.
. 9. Listen to Quran-Tafseer or Islamic lectures. 10. Read Qur'an's translation in your mother-tongue.

β #Muslims on psych meds who canβt fast because without medication they canβt function, who feel uncomfortable explaining this to everyone who asks why they arenβt fasting.
β Muslims with #ADD who struggle to perform Salah, Taraweeh, read Qur'an, etc.
β Muslims with depression who sometimes find it hard to get out of bed and do the obligatory prayers or go to Masjid.
β Muslims with #Bipolar who find Islamic obligations easy on some days and impossible on others, who are seen as flaky or flip-floppy about faith.

Remember this advice comes from the someone who lost both his parents, he lost his father Abdullah before he was born, lost his mother Aminah at the age of 6, his beloved grandfather also died when he was only 8 years old. He grew up an orphan.
To spread Islam he went through hunger, witnessed his loved ones being tortured, his companions martyred, had to migrate and was prosecuted brutally.
He buried 6 of children (Ibrahim, Zainab, Qasim, Abdullah, Umm Kulthum and Rukayyah),
