Diet to reduce Anxiety :

-Prolonged Anxiety hinders your normal body and brain function - makes you more lethargic and reduces your reasoning capacity

Anxiety arises from depressive negative event, visuals / thoughts even news/ messages

It’s impact is silent but deep
- Drink enough water every two hours
- Avoid nerve stimulants like coffee, alcohol and tobacco
- Avoid refined sugar and Table salt (Alternate with Jaggery powder and non Iodized rock salt or Himalayan pink salt)
- Consume more gut friendly Pro biotic fermented foods like sour buttermilk, naturally fermented idli / dosa batter

- Include more green leafy vegetables as soup, Sabji and salad. Magnesium in these help greatly to manage the mood swings due to anxiety
-Reduce and limit your complex carbohydrates consumption like bread, polished rice, pasta

- Avoid spicy and deep fried fast food of any sort

- Lookout for a seed based or nut based healthy snacks like lotus seeds, peanuts, Kulith, local bean
- Include powdered omega 3 rich seeds as toppings or ingredients in your roti or salad

- Include all local vegetable on rotation basis in your diet

- Minimise your grain intake and maximise your vegetables intake

- Beet and carrot are great Anti depressant
-Make smoothies with mint and lemon juice
- Fresh lemonade with ginger or dry ginger
- Avocado dessert with cashews almonds and pumpkin seeds
Ideal diet should be
Breakfast
- Green or herbal tea (Hibiscus / mint/Sankapushpi)
- Salad with porridge
Meal
- Soup, green Salad, roti, dal, brown rice and fruit salad / juice
Snacks
- Poha /Unpolished Puffed rice /airfield nuts or seeds

Dinner
- Roti + Dal
- Fruit salad / desert
- Lukewarm cow Milk with turmeric / cardamom / saffron

- Army and national disaster recovery force health care workers should be deployed for mild cases
- Random testing at streets has to happen to classify hot-spot proactively
- Covid report should classify positive cases as green yellow and red
- Transparent central bed and hospital allocation system for cases
- Adhic rapid response Team or makeshift hospital should be deployed in hot-spots

- Week curfew or lock down needed to bring spread under control

- Hoarding, Mask compliance should be criminal offence

- Black market racketeering should see iron fisted response

How to divert ourselves from covid anxiety / apprehension

- Do some different work from your routine
- Try to be a leftie for some work like buttoning your shirt, sweeping with left hand, washing face Anti clockwise
- Try a different meal of your choice
- Practice journalling, studies say that if you write your worrying thoughts over a piece of paper half of them will vanish

- Maintain a gratitude journal

- Remember most difficult situation or circumstances of your life and how you made it over
- Make courtesy call to your friends or relatives whom you have not contacted for a while

- Write up a thank you note or message to the one who has helped over the crisis period

- Do brisk walking and deep breathing

- Sit with family classify as urgent, medium,low

- Take stock of your 3 months travel plans for pilgrimage , events, functions
- Politely decline all unnecessary visits by friends & relatives
- Be friend your nearest convenience store for door delivery of groceries,essentials , milk etc

Cyanocobalamin - Vitamin B12

This is most commonly used oral supplement of vitamin B12 found most of vitamin Bcomplex tablets

If you are in to spiritual sadhana or in to satvik style of eating. Please inform your doctor as this may or may not suit your gut 1/2
Cyanocobalamin is derived from animal source in Gelatine form predominantly from beef liver

Only very few vegetarian source for Vit B12 except cheddar cheese, fortified yeast or cereals

If you need this consumed as medicine go as per doctors advice as this is most effective
Methylcobalamin is a substitute who prefer to avoid cyanocobalamin but it absorption is slightly different and less compared to the former

This is mostly found in fresh cows milk more in desi gir cows

This again not suitable for vegans
