Eating habits for Positive thinking / Forward looking attitude

-All seemingly negative events have hidden positive aspects and teaches great lesson for future

- What we like today we will dislike some day and vice versa

- Happiness is unique and distinct
Avoid : Sugar, Iodized Salt,Refined oils & Processed foods

Include more of

- Local vegetable
- Spinach and Brahmi
- Buttermilk
- Papaya
- Hill & Regional Banana varieties like Karpoora, Poovan
- Fully ripened mangoes without sugar
- Reduce caffeine intake, as more the Inflammatory response from our body more tend to feel lost
- Consume ginger, Tulsi and cardamom tea
- Consume boiled and cooled down herbal water of your choice
- Dry ginger and cardamom
- Cardamom and laung
- Tulsi and Jira
- Khus
Do
-15 minutes of walking / jump rope or atleast sweeping floors

- 15 minutes of mindful stillness / meditation /deep breathing

- 30 minutes of no digital life like mobile, Internet, TV
- Practice separate journalling may be as two one for your gratitude and another for venting out bad event of the day
- Maintain a day organiser chart Plan your next day or week if possible

- Thank frequently be it your maid, neighbours, children or family member for any help
- Practice empathy and self motivation..

- All bad emotions are said to fade if we do a deep breathing and remember the have-nots in your society

- Joyful mind is birth place of strong self esteem and tireless hardwork
Practice below mindset change to some extent

- Ask how you can do your daily task differently be it simple cooking to your job, different approach invigorates your brain cells and brings satisfaction
- Practice detachment to some extent, avoid your favourite song/ dish for few weeks and you end up discovering a better one than the former.. This is helps to accept the period of deprivation and enjoy the new acquisition ( Habits )

- Try to be a smile agent / trust advisor
Am well aware that I started the topic with diet but suggesting habitual / lifestyle changes

Diet to reduce Anxiety :

-Prolonged Anxiety hinders your normal body and brain function - makes you more lethargic and reduces your reasoning capacity

Anxiety arises from depressive negative event, visuals / thoughts even news/ messages

It’s impact is silent but deep
- Drink enough water every two hours
- Avoid nerve stimulants like coffee, alcohol and tobacco
- Avoid refined sugar and Table salt (Alternate with Jaggery powder and non Iodized rock salt or Himalayan pink salt)
- Consume more gut friendly Pro biotic fermented foods like sour buttermilk, naturally fermented idli / dosa batter

- Include more green leafy vegetables as soup, Sabji and salad. Magnesium in these help greatly to manage the mood swings due to anxiety

- Army and national disaster recovery force health care workers should be deployed for mild cases
- Random testing at streets has to happen to classify hot-spot proactively
- Covid report should classify positive cases as green yellow and red
- Transparent central bed and hospital allocation system for cases
- Adhic rapid response Team or makeshift hospital should be deployed in hot-spots

- Week curfew or lock down needed to bring spread under control

- Hoarding, Mask compliance should be criminal offence

- Black market racketeering should see iron fisted response

- Do some different work from your routine
- Try to be a leftie for some work like buttoning your shirt, sweeping with left hand, washing face Anti clockwise
- Try a different meal of your choice
- Practice journalling, studies say that if you write your worrying thoughts over a piece of paper half of them will vanish

- Maintain a gratitude journal

- Remember most difficult situation or circumstances of your life and how you made it over
- Make courtesy call to your friends or relatives whom you have not contacted for a while

- Write up a thank you note or message to the one who has helped over the crisis period
