Initial reports of 3 rockets landing near “Camp Victory” where coalition forces are based.
3 rockets impacted near the vicinity of Camp Victory, #Baghdad Intl. Airport, #Iraq. No injuries. The launcher of the rockets was found in the Al-Jihad District. Remains of one of the rockets at the airport also.
Sat. imagery courtesy of @planetlabs at 3m/px shows what appears to be extensive strikes at the Al-Dumayr, #Syria SA5 (S200) Air Defense Site, #Syria which the #IDF struck in response to the SA5 missile striking southern #Israel last night. Video > gif due to quality.
Higher resolution in the coming days/weeks will confirm/deny some of these points, but i’ve ran this through NIR and RGB and these do appear to be “changes” the last 24 hours, if one/some are wrong once high res is available, I will correct accordingly.
The video is of two images, 16th April 2021 and 22nd April 2021 on loop. I used the 16th over the 21st as it was too washed out for my liking, but comparisons against 16th, 18th, 20th and 21st where conducted.
