1/ No one has the right to say that #Bitcoin wastes energy.

There are only personal preferences and markets and those who would impose “morality” on markets.

What about central banks? What about wars? In my view THOSE waste energy.

2/ And what about all the good that Bitcoin does? The freedoms it preserves? Is it so difficult to comprehend that maybe just maybe #Bitcoin is helping people’s lives more than central banks and war?

3/ But the real point is that who is to say what is a good use of energy and what is not? The answer is the market. Want to see how ridiculous energy moralizing can be?

4/ Stop signs make cars and trucks very inefficient. We should ban them. #TweetLikeANocoiner

4/ Christmas lights serve a purely symbolic purpose, and often are merely an expression of the ego. Have to beat the neighbors this year! Let’s ban Christmas lights. #TweetLikeANocoiner

5/ For that matter, until the existence of God(s) can be proven, it could be argued that all religions are a sham and thus they are wasting electricity too. Air conditioning in churches, mosques, synagogues? Waste of electricity. Ban religion. #TweetLikeANocoiner

6/ Reality TV? Total waste of electricity. Ban it. #TweetLikeANocoiner

7/ TVs themselves? Why do you need a TV? Just use your imagination. Total waste of electricity. Ban them. #TweetLikeANocoiner

8/ Pools! Really? Some people have pools and keep them heated all the time. Constantly fighting ambient temps for our own pleasure when we have perfectly good lakes, rivers and oceans. What a waste. Let’s ban heated pools. Don’t get me started on jacuzzis... #TweetLikeANocoiner

9/ How about the fashion industry? Who needs all that clothing? Most people can survive in a loincloth. Maybe some furs for winter time. Worked for cavemen. Why not us? Ban the fashion industry. So much energy wasted there. #TweetLikeANocoiner

10/ I could go on and on with more ridiculous examples, but the point is that there is nothing inherently wrong with using energy. Using energy is why we no longer live in caves. If we become an interstellar species do you think we will use less energy? No, we will use more.

11/ And I may not like the Reality TV or xmas lights and think they’re a huge waste of energy, but who am I to deny you your stupid pleasures?

Further, just because you not understanding #Bitcoin doesn’t give you the right to say it wastes energy.

12/ Even IF Bitcoin served no purpose you would have no right to criticize its energy consumption.

But the fact of the matter is that #Bitcoin is a major force for good in the world, which makes you all the more wrong in your critiques.
