All counting does is tell you how many "votes" are in your possession.

An audit tells you if the votes are legit.

Simply re-counting votes has no bearing on legitimacy.

As you go through the money, it seems like the bills on the outer parts of the stacks are real, but something's off with the inner ones. You say it's not the million I claimed.
