I’m in shock! Reminiscing on this lady’s case and how I would have been a victim just 3years ago! Hei God! While I was still in Nigeria job hunting! I got several text messages inviting me for interviews that I never applied for!!!!!
I tried to confirm the Establishment & the location and nothing meaningful came up! There was this particular one the salary said 350k negotiable! ... sounded too good to be true! But still I almost took the bait! ...
I was tempted to go! But I’m someone who never take any step without telling at least a friend asides my mum about it! I still couldn’t confirm the location!

So I shared the information on a WhatsApp group! 3 Nurses! Confirmed they got same! and they found out on Facebook

My friend said when she gets to the US she will apply for her Top up BSc, and get A degree in Nursing Science after 6months!!! The same one that takes 5years to achieve in Nigeria.

I don’t know what anyone is telling you, but traveling out of Nigeria should be your PLAN A - E
I know I have said this many times, and even been misconstrued! Had this discussion with my mentees! And yeah I will say it here again! Might help someone in dilemma!
If you planning a Nursing Degree Top up! and you have plans of coming to the UK anytime soon! If it’s possible for you to delay it till you are in the UK, please bury the idea of having your Degree in Nigeria.

NIGERIANS in the UK, are one of those making things more difficult for those coming in! An employer gives you full sponsorship! brought you into the UK! At almost no cost!!! You signed a 3years contract, it’s barely 1year! You already issuing a resignation letter??? Wow!
Tambout; they ain’t treating me fairly! The employers you served back in your country! Did they treat you fairly?????

Did they even care about you at all???

Many of you lack simple Loyalty and integrity! I bet you you even know what the word means! Fix up! This sucks!
And yeah! Some of you are just outrightly lazy!!! And filled with annoying sense of entitlement!!!

If you have a bad personal/menstrual hygiene, then Tampon is not for you🆘! Please Use regular sanitary pad!

Kindly RT for Awareness!

Thread 🧵 ImageImage
Although Tampons are very affordable, convenient and easy to use, you can even use while swimming, but when used by someone with poor menstrual hygiene things can go south

It increases the risk of exposure to bacterial infections and can lead to Toxic Shock Syndrome (TTS)
TTS, is caused by a bacteria known as Staphylococcus aureus, which ascends into the blood stream and introduce harmful toxins to blood 🩸 circulation.

Risk factors
*use of super absorbent Tampons
*using for longer hours
*low quality tampon that can cause vagina irritation

So a friend shared her Terrible Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) story with me and wanted me to share this with others. As she had no idea that;

Not all period pain is “DYSMENORRHEA”

Follow this thread carefully and retweet for others to learn on your timeline.

Thread 🧵...
She said; “Growing up in Nigeria, every time she complained of menstrual pain, she gets prescribed medications without further investigation.

Whereas all along what she had was Endometriosis which she recently discovered.
ENDOMETRIOSIS is a long term painful condition where tissues similar to the lining of the womb (Endometrium) starts to grow in other structures around the womb like the ovaries and the Fallopian tubes( looks like hands of the womb). Affects women of childbearing age.
