1. In 2019 The Islamic State published pledges of allegiance from 15 countries vs. 13 in 2022
2. In 2019; significantly more pledges from Iraq and Syria, now Africa leads

2022: Iraq, West-Africa, Syria, Somalia, Phillipines, Yemen, Khurasan, Libya, Sahel, Pakistan, India, Sinai, Central-Africa 2/
4. Gone since 2019: Bangladesh, Tunisia, Tajikistan, Indonesia, Azerbaijan

On August 7, 2014 The United States started its campaign against ISIS. Quickly after the idea of a new Crusade was revived.

Thinking about writing a bit on The Islamic State and the Myths of The Crusades

The Islamic State is plundering parts of #Nigeria now.

They manage to impose the Islamic tax of Zakāt at least in some regions at this point 1/
But then again, they redistribute some of it in charity (it seems)
