Starting from Jan'21 till 9th-May, 6.64 cr vaccines have been exported, out of which 1.07 cr doses exported as 'Grant', 3.58 cr as 'Commercial' & 1.99 cr under 'GAVI' obligation. GoI has not exported any vaccine as 'Commercial Sale' in Apr'21-May'21 & exported only 3L as 'Grant'.
Govt of India has provided more than 17.56 cr to states on Free of Cost (FOC) basis, till 08-May-21. Order of total 26.6 cr doses & 8.0 cr doses is placed to Serum & Bharat Biotech respectively, remaining doses will be delivered in May, Jun, Jul'21.
Serum Institutes present capacity is 6-7 crore doses per month, getting augmented to 10 cr/mn & Bharat Biotech's present capacity is 5-6 crore doses per month, getting boosted to 10 cr /mn by Sep. Sputnik-V (single dose) to manufacture 85 cr per year, production to start by June.
Its the responsibility of respective State Government to place order for vaccines for age segment 18 years to 45 years in Phase-III. Don't fall in propaganda that Modi not providing vaccines. GoI is providing Covid-19 vaccines on FOC basis to States for people aged >45 years.
