#1 You don't want to use your personal profile to prospect for anyone other than you

You SHOULD be prospecting yourself so you can

> Gain more clients
> Gain experience how to use LinkedIn

Experimenting using your clients' accounts isn't recommended

Be your own client first
#2 People mainly connect with you because of your profile strength NOT your connection message

The importance of connection messages is overrated

Your prospects want to see your profile and will JUDGE you on it.

If you look like an expert

They are MUCH more likely to accept

Conversely...

If you're NOT an expert in your prospects field of interest

The chances of them accepting your connection request or InMail is WAY lower

LESSON

Optimize your client's profile so they're clearly perceived as experts

& watch your campaign success go up
#3 The Exception to the rule

If your client's offer is so strong their personal profile doesn't matter, then you have more options

In my experience this is rare, but can work e.g. for SaaS offers

Now you can use 'SDR' (sales rep) accounts to prospect for your client's offer
#3 (CONT)

You can either use the profiles of ACTUAL employees of your client's company

- I do this for several clients -

OR

You could create 'fake' accounts with AI-generated images and names that look real but aren't real people

Do NOT do this unless you're experienced.

9/10 times you should use your client's profile for their LinkedIn outreach campaign

Yes, you will need access to it to set up and run the campaign.

No, that's not an issue for me or my clients.
