The court said that health infrastructure is absolutely insufficient in city areas to
meet the requirement of city population & the rural areas
the Community Health Centres are virtually lacking in
respect of life saving gadgets.
So far as the medical infrastructure is concerned, in
these few months we have realized that in the manner it
stands today, it is very delicate, fragile and debilitated.
While directing the Central government to file a report regarding vaccination, the court said the "Central Government may not depend on its bureaucrats only. It may use the best brains
which might be available to it."
#MadrasHighCourt extends life of interim orders until June 30, 2021, in view of the present #COVID19 situation.
Interim orders subsisting on April 30 stand extended till June 30 unless vacated/modified/unless specifically dealt with by judicial order to the contrary.
Orders of eviction, dispossession, demolition that have not been executed till date shall remain in abeyance till June 30, 2021, unless the stay is expressly vacated or the order of stay expressly modified by any judicial order passed by an appropriate forum.
All orders passed by criminal courts - including bail, parole, anticipatory bail orders for a limited period & likely to expire on or before June 30, shall stand extended till June 30 (subject to any orders passed to deal with any abuse of order)
