Virginia Republicans, Let’s Win Now & In November Too

We have the power to turn the Democrat primary. Between now and June 8, if every single Republican in the state of Virginia votes against McAuliffe, defeating him is a massive win.
2) You don't have to know much about McAuliffe to know he's poised be our next Governor. We are, right now, a DEEP BLUE state. The four other candidates running against him are not running against him. They are merely cosmetic.
3) Let's look at a Chaos Theory approach. Our ONLY job is to get Republicans to vote for any Non-McAuliffe candidate in the June 8 primary. It's likely a tough sell, and very possibly an impossible one. Maybe our side is simply too demoralized.
4) But the concept is fantastically simple. With McAuliffe the odds on victor, defeating him now is a Republican win, a massive Republican win. None of the other four contenders have even a small fraction of his odds of winning in November.
5) So, it's time to imagine an actual Republican victory in this so-Deep-Blue state. There is no way for Republicans to win without voting. I know what you're thinking, Voter Fraud. And of course you're right, so let's talk about that.
6) Sure, it's very possible that the Democrats are smart enough to employ Voter Fraud to win the primary for McAuliffe, but I don't think they feel the need. Consider, it is a Democrat primary. Their Voter Fraud methods are targeted against Republican candidates.
7) My simple, logical projection is that Voter Fraud is a November issue, NOT a June issue. It's ONLY Democrats on the ballot. I think we can work with that. And you have to remember, in Virginia, NO party affiliation is registered. Republicans get to vote.
8) So, my little Chaos Theory idea is just this. There has to be some tipping point where enough Republicans vote for any Non-McAuliffe candidate at all tips the primary against him. If we hit that number, McAuliffe loses and we win.
9) Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Chaos Theory. But I'd like to do better. Imagine that of those Virginia Republicans who do vote in this primary all vote for just one Non-McAuliffe candidate. The required number of our votes necessary to defeat him PLUMMETS.
10) I've identified a method. It has five steps I posted yesterday. Here they are again:

1) Research
2) Analysis
3) Strategy
4) Organization
5) Action
11) Let's apply. I urge that we research the one best Non-McAuliffe candidate most likely to receive highest Democrat votes against him by June 8. It doesn't matter which candidate it is. If we researched that right, and threw our support, we defeat McAuliffe.
12) Research alone can get us that information, but analysis takes us the next step. The analysis I call for - and I may well NOT be the one to complete it - is who defeats McAuliffe BUT loses to Youngkin? We have to talk about Youngkin now.
13) Youngkin is the Republican contender who doesn't, right now, stand a snowball-in-hell's chance of defeating McAuliffe. I exaggerate. It's my fear that Youngkin was chosen for his unlikelihood of defeating a Democrat. That is how much I distrust the Republican Party.
14) The good news is this. It doesn't matter. That is, we do NOT have to be right, right now, about November. We just have to choose one Democrat we support in June, one Non-McAuliffe Democrat. We don't have to be right, we just have to choose.
15) You take your wins where you can. If we choose the wrong Non-McAuliffe candidate now, one who still defeats Youngkin in November, oh well. We'll still have won this battle. And that's interesting. We have chosen and executed a winning strategy. Hmmm.
16) Each morning when I compose my threads, I also capture them into a Microsoft Word document. This empowers me to email them to whom I will. Why does that matter? Today's analysis will be emailed to General Flynn. And I will have an ask.
17) My ask will be this. Help us organize Virginia Republicans to vote in this primary for ANYONE OTHER than McAuliffe, and take charge of the outcome. National attention is warranted. Our June 8 primary is worthy of national attention.
18) Now, who should be organizing us, we Virginia Republican voters? First, the Republican Party itself should. Our state has national impact, and perhaps this year more than ever.

gop.com
19) Next, obviously, it should be the Republican Party of Virginia. Hear me now. I have NO connection to them. I wish I did, but I don't. And I have a 2016 story to share which illustrates.
20) In 2016, the Republican Party was NOT 100% behind Trump. Those of us who were, when we engaged them, found them to be oppositional in the extreme. We fought with them tooth and nail. I'll give a single example.
21) After the Priebus analysis of 2012, the Republican Party built the most powerful political database in history. Problem was, the Trump Campaign was limited in its ability to access the Party's information. I kid you not, and I attest to you, this is true.
22) I brag. We outmaneuvered them. We got the access, and the access was pivotal. That's a story for another day. It applies today for this reason. Between them, the National and the State Parties could absolutely organize our vote in Virginia. They could. They won't.
23) That sadly takes us back to Chaos Theory. Virginia Republicans are good people. They've been betrayed by the powers that be. Virginia should be a Deep Red state and would be if the powers that be were not corrupt as hell.
24) Chaos? If you're a Virginia Republican, please make sure you vote for any Non-McAuliffe candidate by June 8. It doesn't matter which one. I wish it did. But I am certain that if enough of us Virginia Republicans vote by June 8, we can defeat McAuliffe.
25) That's enough for one day. Here we are in Virginia, we Republicans. Will we organize for action? That is our question. We must defeat McAuliffe, and we can do so now. Take that in. Stew on it. And decide. Are you with me? Let's defeat McAuliffe now.

1) Who Knows @Al_Baldasaro?
2) Scorn In Coordinated Action
3) #DefeatMcAuliffeNow

Al is my hero, friend, advisor, and true compatriot. He is President Trump's Favorite Veteran. Listen to our great POTUS introduce Al.

2) @Al_Baldasaro made the most the most important introduction of my life, to General Mike Flynn. While I'm tempted to tell Al's full story, we have to skip all that and turn to the advice he gave me yesterday about the #DefeatMcCullifeNow mission. ImageImage
3) @Al_Baldasaro gave me some important coaching about the Virginia Republican Party's decision to NOT run a primary this year. His fresh perspective persuaded me that I was wrong in my judgement of them.

Turning Scorn Into Strategy, Organization, Action

Since my encounter with the good volunteers at the local Voter Registration Office last Monday, a strategy has been brewing. If it is birthed, it will be my very first state-level analysis.
2) It's a familiar emotion, now. I feel itchy. A new clarity is emerging, and when it is born, it will mean action. While I've never felt this at the state level before, I felt it for my nation continuously since 2016.
3) Before I can walk through the little almost-baby strategy, I have to talk a bit more about scorn itself. Here in the great state of Virginia, it is not possible for me to not feel scorn for the Republican Party I'm trying so hard to join.

Nonviolent Political Defiance Action…NOW!

The first thing we have to do, today, is reach out - ALL OF YOU - to the incredible but too often silent, great @Anonymo94924320. If you haven't followed him, do. And check out this meme he sent me! Image
2) We have a lot of work to get done today. A lot. It may take more than my now-standard 30-Tweet limit. We'll see. To dive in, we're going to go deep. Seriously. Ready? Okay. Hegel - yes, the so-detested philosopher - has something we need.
3) Please bear with me. Hegel was likely the very WORST writer in the history of Western Philosophy. His students rarely do any better. Hegelian Philosophy may best be compared to language as spaghetti. And no tomato sauce either. Just boring, bland, cooked spaghetti.

#FromDictatorshipToDemocracy – Chapter 5: Exercising Power

This chapter (and especially page 44) has truly slowed my 2nd reading of this book, dramatically. I won't fully know why till I'm on the other side of the speed bump.
2) Perhaps part of the answer comes from this quote on the next page: "Nonviolent struggle is a much more complex and varied means of struggle than is violence."

Let's ponder what that means.
3) Complexity and simplicity can be defined by very simple math. It can be reduced to more than (>) vs less than (<) each other. A pencil with graphite and wood is a simpler thing for its 2 parts, than is a pen with its tip, ink source, casing, etc. The pencil is simpler.

#FromDictatorshipToDemocracy – Chapter 4: Exercising Power

Here's a list from page 45. It isn't an easy list to unpack.

The Categories of Weapons in Political Defiance:

1) Psychological
2) Social
3) Economic
4) Political
2) I think what I have to do is make it very personal. I know a great deal about psychology. For instance, I know how be respectful on the path to earning respect, and I can do this with enemies at will. I also know how to agree and disagree, gently yet forcefully.
3) Further, I also know how to introduce myself and initiate friendships. I have a list of local sheriffs I've been procrastinating reaching out to. I must STOP procrastinating. I can be a powerful friend. I will reach out to a minimum of 1 per day till my list is complete.

#FromDictatorshipToDemocracy – Chapter 4: Dictatorships have Weaknesses – Closing Case

Young fool that I was, I had NO idea of the power of showing my work when I was in school. I just hated rules and authority and rebelled over every little thing. ImageImage
2) For instance, how do you know how to note the day? Is it month first, or date first? I don't know, do you? As you can see in my pictures, I got it wrong, but, AHA!, I corrected my error. In this school, where we show our work, that's a badge of honor!
3) Another thing we do is quote our authors. We do NO plagiarism here. None. We attribute. And that's what we're going to do right now. I'm going to quote the points I underlined and dated. We love our authors here, and credit them every chance we can.
