Just watching Jason Kenney gaslight Albertans and raise expectations for the summer.

The man is a dangerous diabolical menace. His plans will ensure a fourth wave.

The case count to him is irrelevant. Just the number of hospital beds being used.
I’ve noticed that significant drop in numbers of tests conducted has happened recently. That’s reduced the number of confirmed cases.

That doesn’t mean there are smaller numbers of infections, it means there are fewer being caught and verified. Big difference.
Kenney is placing all hope on vaccinations. He expects 70% vaccination rates by end of June 2021. And that zero masks and covid restrictions will exist by July 1, 2021.

There is no acknowledgement of the new India variant or any of the other variants.
No caution, just unrealistic celebration that in 1 month all will be back to normal.

I’ve never seen anything more irresponsible in my life.

UCP might be trying to distract from their horrible support level and create some excitement by offering fantasies.
We don’t live in a bubble. Asia, Africa, South and Central America all require vaccinations. It’s taken several months to get to this point. It will take that long or longer for those continents to get vaccinated.

30% of unvaccinated population is still a significant number.
Kenney scares me. His intentions aren’t entirely clear, but safety of the public’s health does not appear to be his priority.

@ipoliticsca Why is it that climate advocates don’t realize that a minority government is a weakened position to implement these measures?

Do these opinion writers not understand how legislation is made in Canada? Do they not understand the limits our constitution?
@ipoliticsca I don’t believe they do. Or if they do, they’re actively confusing those who don’t for political gain.

Provinces hold purview over natural resources in Canada.

The Supreme Court basically just ruled that the federal government has jurisdiction to reduce carbon outputs.
@ipoliticsca Until that SCOC decision, several premiers blocked any meaningful legislation because of ideological values contrary to climate change reality.

But the door is now open for feds to implement some of those policies and measures to stave off climate catastrophe.

Please watch this 12 minute video by Glenn Kirschner.

The US is moving towards justice.

Though many are misreading current events.
Merrick Garland is not covering up Bill Barr’s behaviour as attorney general. It’s far more likely that the evidence will be used during investigation of Barr’s dealings while USAG.
It’s also considerably more likely that Garland is fighting the judges orders to preserve the Department of Justice’s ability to use their own discretion about revealing sensitive information.

Modern comparisons to the atrocities committed in Nazi Germany are generally grossly exaggerated and serve to denigrate the actual horrors so many experienced during the Holocaust.

But occasionally, horrors that are comparable emerge.

This is one.
Abortion is a difficult topic to discuss and examine. But there are medical experiments and practices currently being performed that require the public’s attention.

These procedures are at the level of human medical experimentation that was witnessed in Nazi Germany.
The ability to rationalize human medical experimentation by far right Evangelical Christian extremists is comparable to Nazi Germany’s Dr. Josef Mengele.

This is a provocative statement and I don’t write it without careful consideration. Image

Alberta is in quite a pickle. Covid is raging and there is little being done to mitigate the disease. More than before, but still insufficient.

We remain the highest case load in Canada by far.
Many have commented on the performance of Dr. Deena Hinshaw.

Some have even called her complicit with UCP agenda.

I don’t believe that’s accurate.

I believe she is providing information to the public the only way she can without being fired.
Some will assess that situation as cowardly. Criticizing her for not speaking truth to the public and taking matters into her own hands by declaring a lockdown.

To those people, I challenge you to walk a mile in her shoes.

These aren’t groundbreaking strategies. The strategy is well known military grade psyops technology exposed by Carole Cadwalladr @carolecadwalla in her Cambridge Analytica exposé.
There is no mystery. It’s just the use of private data analytics to discern who’s vote is undecided, and then inundate those undecided voters with a plethora of propaganda, disinformation, coercive marketing of candidates, amplification of false scandals of their opponents.
This is done on both ends of the political spectrum to pull as many votes away from moderate political parties, using multiple mediums like email, text, Social Media, snail mail, YouTube, and personal door knocking, etc. It’s called micro targeting. And it’s a form of Psyops.

I did some sleuthing.

Seems our premier is responding to a scathing letter from a previously jailed pastor.

This letter was written and posted May 24, 2021.

fairviewbaptistchurch.ca/open-letter-to…

Two days ago. A day before this reopening plan was concocted by Kenney.
I watched Kenney’s speech live. He made reference to two groups of voters in his decision making. Church goers and Business owners.

Certainly there is some overlap.

If you hesitate in believing Kenney is responding to these two special interest groups, you can stop wondering.
It’s abundantly clear with the immediate response to this letter that the premier is responding to the pressure from the Liberty Coalition whose membership is primarily extreme evangelical Christians and the restaurant industry.
