Advocate Priyanka Tibrewal submits 200 people dislodged from their houses due to the violence during time of COVID pandemic. They don't have food to eat, place to stay, she says.

Police is going and clicking pictures of wife or mother of such person in the house to show everything is fine.

But the person who participated in political activities are not being allowed to go back to that house: Tibrewal.

AG Dutta says he does not have details and asks for copy of reply.

Bench suggests why not appoint an officer and include Tibrewal in that committee and ensure that people are allowed to enter their houses.

This does not need to be contested.

Justice Soumen Sen says "irrespective of what Tibrewal has said, it is duty of state irrespective of religion caste or politics to ensure that every citizen is able to stay in his house. What is the difficulty in that."

Tibrewal says she will take the people to their house. Please ensure that there is some protection.

Justice IP Mukerji also agrees.

AG Dutta says he need a copy of affidavit in reply so that he can get details.
