Thread: (1/4) Dreams do come true, when you have the courage to work hard for them. The son of scrap dealers in Pilkhuwa village of UP's Hapur district, IPS officer Feroz Alam's journey is a testimony to these words. Image
(2/4) Alam, who had been serving in the Delhi Police as a constable since 2011, cracked the UPSC exam in his sixth and final attempt last year, and rejoined the force as an ACP.
(3/4) For his parents, who have only studied till Class 6, and are scrap-dealers, this was an unimaginable feat.

As for Alam, he says that 10 years in service in the police department will serve him well going ahead.
(4/4) “I have seen officers very closely, I understand how it works,” he said in an interview. “I also understand the problems and the welfare of the constabulary, so I do think I can do something for them.”

We wish him all the very best.
