Interestingly, the Ujjayanta Palace was built in the late 19th century by Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya of the Manikya dynasty, after a devastating earthquake flattened Agartala in 1897. Rabindranath Tagore gave it its beautiful name. (5/5)
