A breakdown of a value add outbound prospecting strategy that will keep your pipeline flooded
So what is a value add outbound strategy?
It's when you share valuable content that positions yourself as an expert in your field
You'll use the content to collect leads info to continue nurturing and ask for a call in the backend
So you're probably wondering what kind of value add content should I create?
Create something that
- solves a specific, relevant problem
- something that can't be googled quickly
- no fluff, straight value
- design it nicely so you seem expensive
Okay now that you have your value add content, what do you now?
Create some killer outbound copy that gets your prospect interested
DO NOT JUST ASSUME THEY WANT IT AND SPRAY/PRAY A LINK TO THEM
You want to ask them a specific question
"Hey {first name} - are you having trouble with {what your content solves}"
Launch some automations using LinkedIn automation platforms like @HiLeadLink and wait for responses
If your content is solving a massive problem in your niche
Your inbox will get flooded
& so what you do from here is very important
If you get an interested response
- Mark them in your CRM so you can make sure you keep following up with them over time
- Create separate follow up LinkedIn campaigns
- Guard your value content with an opt in & have an email follow up sequence
If they're interested hit them with the
"If it makes sense, I would love to speak with you on how we can help you (problem that you solve)"
Now let me give you a real life example
Business: Agency that does Facebook ads for ecom brands
Value Content: A guide on making sure your ad accounts won't get banned
Outbound Copy: "Hey {first name} - are your FB ad accounts for {company name} getting banned?"
bam. simple.
If they’re like most that are advertising on Facebook - they probably run into this problem a lot
Ask them if they want an “ad account audit” , get them on a call, position yourself as an expert, close the deal
