To a specific request for documents about how states as well as vaccine firms were consulted while drafting the vaccine policies against #COVID19, health min said this info involves trade secrets & commercially confidential material. Won't be shared.

Former Information Commissioners @AcharyuluMS @shaileshgan & @yashoazad criticised these replies and said such information should've been voluntarily shared by the Centre in public domain instead of waiting for RTIs.

In an affidavit, the environment ministry claimed it received translations of #EIA2020 in 22 Indian languages from states, but won’t publish them for public consultation as the translations can't be verified & so could cause “confusion and complications” bit.ly/2TBzLCb
