Why do media always find ppl arguing to remove isolation whi won't call for ventilation to cut transmission?

But they won't mention case data in education still isn't being published since May

Basically my whole day was managing students being sent home after more positive cases.

Media is filled with ppl saying scrap isolation, how about we try cutting transmission first?

Machiavelli said democracies are the most stable government because you can trust a well informed populous to make the right decision.

Flip side of a democracy is anarchy,usually result of corruption and misinformed public...
2/Its why we currently face an onslaught of disinformation from foreign governments and the far right,creating confusion, undermining trust in institutions furthers their agendas.

The media should be vital for keeping the public informed.

🧵DfE has released a new contingency framework for dealing with outbreaks and hotspots in education.

2/Whole principle seems that measures to cut transmission occur after the outbreak.

A reactionary rather than proactive approach to infection.
Takes a minimalist approach
3/To prioritise education they want the minimum number of measures for the minimum amount of time.

"Lift as soon as evidence supports"
What evidence? Whose evidence?

The evidence is saying we should already have these measures in place!
