6 essential skills to build a thriving (and fulfilling) online business:

• Delegation
• Storytelling
• Copywriting
• Public speaking
• No-code building
• Relationship-building

Here’s why you need to learn each one of them:
To build a thriving online biz, you need to spend most of your time doing high-leverage work.

These are things that:

• Have exponential outcomes
• You're uniquely equipped to do

If it's not high-leverage, find a way to delegate it.
The cheapest form of delegation:

Automation.

For less than $20 a month, you can start outsourcing many of your low-leverage, time-consuming tasks to computers.

Give it a try.

Once you start thinking this way, you'll find ways to automate EVERYTHING.
Building a biz is easier if you build an audience first.

But to build an audience, you need to capture people’s attention.

And to capture attention, you need more than good ideas...

You must be a skilled storyteller & communicator.
Learn storytelling to turn ideas into captivating stories.

Learn copywriting to deliver these stories clearly & concisely using the written word.

Learn public speaking to share these stories effectively using the power of your voice.

That's how you capture attention.
By building an audience, you gain valuable insights.

You start to understand better what the market wants.

Use no-code tools to validate your insights fast, cheaply & without permission.

Then, build products that solve the problems that you validate at scale.
Relationship-building is the most powerful skill ever.

You can change the world if you know how to influence, collaborate & build relationships with other people.

This goes beyond just being "charismatic".

Ultimately, it's about earning & building trust.
Be intentional about the people you associate with.

Surround yourself with people who:

1) Are smarter or more successful than you & learn from them.

2) Share your values to forge partnerships & friendships.

Before you take, though, learn to give.

Generosity builds trust.
That's it!

Today is my 25th birthday 🎉

Here are the 25 biggest lessons I learned this past year:

(On online writing, business & life)
1. Family first - never put your job or business above your family

2. A real, supportive friend is more valuable than 1000s of followers

3. You'll rarely love the outcome so learn to love the process

4. You can't right a stationary ship
5. The people you admire are still figuring it out too

6. The coolest jobs are not found on job boards - you get them by sending cold emails, not cold resumes

7. Side projects are the new resume. Don't tell people what you can do - show them

Getting people to read your work is hard.

You spend hours researching, writing, editing, battling impostor syndrome & procrastination...

And when you finally hit publish:

🦗 Crickets 🦗

Don't panic.

You can solve this today by using this simple copywriting formula:
PAS is a 3-step, time-tested framework that works like magic.

The best copywriters have used it for decades

to create attention-grabbing ads & sales pages

that sold billions of dollars in products.
It doesn't matter if you're not writing copy for a sales page or an ad, though.

Whatever you write, you can use PAS to make it more powerful.

The best part?

This framework will not only help increase your viewership & engagement...

But also write faster & more confidently.

Twitter changed my life forever.

In just 1 year, I:

• Built an audience
• Sold my 1st product
• Made dozens of friends
• Landed the coolest gig ever

The same can happen to you if...

You learn how to use Twitter to connect with like-minded folks.

Here's how you do it:
The quality of your Twitter experience depends on the people you follow.

To curate your feed,

Seek out:

• Peers on a similar journey
• Positive, generous mentors

Avoid:

• Following too many people
• News, politics, drama and gossip
The same way you curate your feed, you also want to curate your followers.

Treat your profile real state (bio, banner, pinned tweet) as a landing page.

Your goal is not only increasing your follower count...

But also making sure you’re attracting the right people.

He's built one of the fastest-growing and most-profitable YT channels ever.

Good news is that many of his growth tactics are universal.

Here are 3 you can borrow to grow faster on Twitter: Image
Learn to Engineer Virality

Most YouTubers have one video go viral once and then struggle to keep producing hits.

But MrBeast has found a way to turn all his videos into viral blockbusters.

What's his secret?
Turns out there are a handful of video categories that always perform well on YouTube.

And all of his videos fall in at least one of these “viral buckets”.

In fact, many of his videos have more than one viral-theme built-in.

Hemingway was one of the most successful fiction writers of his time.

But he could've also been a tremendous business writer.

His 4 rules for writing are a recipe for crafting a clear, potent message.

Here's how you can use them to produce 10x better content:
Hemingway’s 4 rules for great writing:

1. Use short sentences
2. Use vigorous English
3. Be positive, not negative
4. Use short first paragraphs

Let’s break down each one of them.
Short sentences are easy to understand.

Long, wordy sentences, on the other hand, are clunky, confusing and complicated.

See the difference?

To keep your sentences tight, use:

• Shorter words
• Fewer adjectives
• More "." than ","
• 1 sentence for each idea
