#CapitolRiot: Busy day on Wednesday. First, a hearing for Guy Reffitt, an alleged Texas Three Percenter accused of bringing guns to D.C. on January 6 and then of threatening his family if they informed the FBI about his involvement. @wusa9

#CapitolRiot: Later on Wednesday there are two simultaneous plea hearings at 2 p.m. First for Josiah Colt, an Idaho man photographed dangling from the Senate Balcony. Then, for Danielle Doyle, of Oklahoma. @wusa9 @EricFlackTV
#CapitolRiot: On Thursday, three alleged #ProudBoys – Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs and Charles Donohoe – will appear before Judge Kelly. They all have various motions pending, including a 52-page motion by Nordean yesterday to have his indictment dismissed. wusa9.com/article/news/n…

#CapitolRiot: And finally (for this thread's purposes), there will be a plea hearing on Friday morning for Anthony R. Mariotto, of Florida. Unlike some other recent pleas, he does face one felony count of entering and remaining in a restricted building. @wusa9 @EricFlackTV

#CapitolRiot: The plea hearing for Michael Curzio (Florida) is beginning now. His agreement calls for a plea to a single misdemeanor count of parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building. As the maximum sentence is 6 mos., he could receive time served today. @wusa9
#CapitolRiot: Refresher on Michael Curzio: He was arrested at the front of the crowd on January 6, and then taken into federal custody on January 14. He's been in custody ever since on four misdemeanor counts. @wusa9 wusa9.com/article/news/n…

I get why people are mad at the press. I do. We have privileged jobs. But I promise you that when we're all gone, when the companies you work for use pandemic relief to do stock buybacks and pad CEO bonuses instead of helping you, they aren't going to write about it themselves.
It wasn't UPS that decided to report on their dozens of federal lawsuits about dangerous work conditions and alleged retaliation against those who spoke up. It was my friend @fatimathefatima. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
It wasn't the Army and the Air Force who took themselves to task about the unsafe and unhealthy conditions military families are living in. It was dogged reporting from @LauraGellerTV that forced them to acknowledge it and apologize. wusa9.com/article/news/i…

Here's the #MuellerReport on the issue of "collusion" / "coordination" nomenclature.
I'm looking at the section on "active measures" taken by the Russian government to interfere/influence the election. #MuellerReport says the Internet Research Agency started out w/ "generalized program" to undermine U.S. electoral system, but eventual targeted supporting Trump.

#NotreDame is "just" a building, of course -- but it's one that represents the work and lives of thousands of people. It survived the French Revolution and two World Wars. It has inspired generations of artists. Being inside it is awe-inspiring in the truest sense.
It took 100 years to build #NotreDame -- and it has been under continuous improvement/renovation ever since. The history of the organ alone is incredible. Some of the finest instrument designers humanity has ever produced have had a hand in building it over centuries.
#NotreDame's rose windows date back eight centuries -- some still containing the original stained glass. The south window -- the one you see in pictures from the plaza between the two towers -- has been repeatedly damaged and restored over the years.
