#PalestinianIslamicJihad #PIJ terror organization officially took responsibility for the explosion this morning in az-Zawiyeh Market in #Gaza City! Wow!
This is an admission they were storing weapons in the middle of the busiest market, right in the center of historic #Gaza City, a few meters from an ancient mosque! If it hadn't happened during Eid, when most shops were closed, the death toll would have been much higher.

1/ My parents were in their forties, and knew no Hebrew. They left their families and a warm, supportive community. So brave.
2/ This was the 1970's. The only contact was letters, which often took weeks to arrive. We were extremely lucky to get a phone after only 6 months, but calls abroad were very expensive.
3/ I'm so very grateful that they made the sacrifices they did, so we children could have a better, freer life.

The main difference in this campaign compared to previous ones is that we went full force from the beginning, not gradually accelerating, which is a mistake when you have limited time. I'm told we had more achievements on the 1st day than in the whole 51 days in 2014,
with far less loss of lives on both sides as well. The goal was never to reconquer the hellhole of Gaza. The goal was not even to remove #Hamas, but to weaken, demoralize and humiliate it. And we did. The division of Hamas & Fatah is of strategic value to Israel.
