Will we ever stop judging people on how they look? The careless and callous remarks on #NoorMukaddam murder on why she was away for nights and why she was meeting a male, are not just disturbing but show the perverted sickness of mentality, fast growing in society.
Safety measures, being vigilant is indeed extremely important, especially in a society rife with crime and where there is little hope of punishment for the criminals, and yes, I am one of those who believes following religion saves one from a lot of unpleasantries in life, yet.
The callousness of why driving alone, why going alone, every 'why' targeting the victim, not the criminal has become a pathetic pattern. We MUST stop. Every citizen deserves protection. Ever criminal must be brought to #justice, stop spreading disinformation like infection .
Can we let, private religious beliefs of people for them and their creator. And stop giving judgements.Who are we to decide who is pious or not?It was NEVER our job.Allah's prerogative best left to Him. As for #NoorMukaddam, she was close friends with #jaffer but had broken up.
According to a friend, she was invited by #Jaffer to come to a farewell party. When she reached there, she was held at gun point. The friend says that she was made to send messages home on gun point also that she would be spending Eid in Lahore. Why there were no alarm bells? Well,
Apparently, someone did inform #NoorMukaddam family that she is at #Jaffer's home but they could not believe it as she had broken up. It was a normal Eid day preparation day for them, with bakras being bought when they got the call that will haunt them forever.
The guards at #Jaffer's home reported seeing a few scenes of violence on the gallery and instead of reporting to the police, opted to report to #jaffer's family. His family also opted to call therapy squad. One guard said he saw #jaffer dragging #NoorMukaddam
The therapy squad did their best by trying to woo #jaffer to come down. The timing of death is essential to decipher exactly who were present at the time of killing but a friend seems to think it was done while the therapy guards were there. One of them is at hospital recovering.
It was indeed by therapy squad that #jaffer was finally captured. The police at spot said he was absolutely of sound mind when captured ,to an extent that he was quoting his "connections" to influence the police. However, he tried to fake a mental illness scene by talking gibberish
PM @ImranKhanPTI has pledged to allow the people of Kashmir the right to independence "if"residents of the disputed territory were to vote for joining Pak in a UN-mandated plebiscite, delayed for decades. This master stroke by the skipper has left opponents gasping. Here's why:
The truth is that @ImranKhanPTI has reiterated the stance that has been consistent with Pakistan- the stance that Kashmir dispute can 'only' be resolved by implementing the plebiscite guaranteed in UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions. An uncomfortable truth for India as well.
His statement will immediately get international acclaim , in particular in neighboring #India. The words and actions of two states will be widely in contrast. On one hand, it's Pakistan ,so sincere to the Kashmir cause and the lives of Kashmiris, the human angle being the first.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan @ImranKhanPTI has rejected all claims of former DG FIA, Bashir Memon, calling them a fringe of imagination. He said his interaction with Bashir Memon was strictly professional and only related to the cases relevant to his organisation.
PM said that Bashir Memon used to brief him on cases related to Omni Group and Asif Zardari. However, no such conversations that he is quoting ever took place.
PM said that a conversation took place about @KhawajaMAsif In front of the cabinet because as head of state he is responsible for the security and holding documents of another country while being interior minister which was the case of Khawaja Asif fell in PM's ambit of inquiry.
There is a fear that the #cancelcieexams2021 trend has carved an impression in the officials heads that it's a slight matter of some kids who do not want to appear in exam. This is a dangerous and misleading assumption.
Try to understand that these kids genuinely are at risk.
Last year when the exams were cancelled, this age demographic wasn’t even applicable. Now they are. We’re hitting record cases day by day, and no matter how good SOPS are, they are not 100% prevention. They are not a cure. #NCOCsavestudents
Also, while the matter is quite logical, it's a fact, that the court has decided to steer clear of this issue. Yet, the fact that thousands of kids are still protesting and feeling their academic year can be lost is something to be noticed.
There has been a series of events on Pak-India front in the last few weeks it will be imp to look at these events in the backdrop of a third party mediation. Two Middle East countries have exerted pressure on Pakistan to nuetraluse antagonism rampant against Modi regime1/6
However، depite the investment of certain quarters into #BJP and #Modiregime, it's not in Pakistan's interest to succumb to the pressure exerted by quarters which have larger agendas which often remain ignorant to what suits Pak best.Let's not forget, we always stressed peace
Pakistan n India relations have always been intense and to say the least, complicated. As it is, there will always be hiccups, under the present government in India, they become next to impossible. Recent developments can be a step towards re-establishment of working relations.
1500,000 dollars paid to Mr James under the out of court settlement at the guidance of "smart" Pakistani government, also, NAB paid a sum of 250,000 dollars in settlement of the claims by IAR, in 2008. Mr James died in 2011/2. So the money was paid in vain.
The repudiatory damages were paid according to clause 4 of ARA.
Here is the clause 4 of ARA, the Asset Recovery Agreement dated 20th June, 2000. Under the ARA, in relation to assets recovered, the defendant was to receive 20 per cent of the amount available to be transferred. This is exactly what @sayedzbukhari had said on our show last week.
@TPRPod London, office of Jang, Geo, had been reading a book by Benazir Bhutto, finished the last 2 chapters after her death,it was eerie, anyway, I had placed my things on my desk and gone to make coffee,I was thinking it will be a bland day news wise because Pak will be busy with rally
@TPRPod Suddenly, I heard running footsteps, a senior reporter from Jang ran to @aamirghauri at his desk and told him that there was a blast and BB was badly injured, everyone ran to turn on the volumes of all TV screens, there was huge panick everywhere in office
@TPRPod@aamirghauri I called our desk in Karachi, they said they were not sure what happened, everyone had hoped she would be safe like last time, the reporter at the rally in Rawalpindi was totally shocked, I remember the news of her death was already being murmured at burue before it was announced
