I started this process on June 21 while I was in Trichur. We had 5 candidates who needed 2nd dose. My mother, wife & my in laws & myself. I'm an above average tech savvy guy. I tried 4 a week on the Cowin portal & that fraud Arogya Setu app out of desperation. No luck at all. 2/n

I had taken my 1st dose, along with the same group via a private clinic in Trichur. Even they said, they're unable to get vaccines. I had consulted many "experts" who suggested using Telegram, KPolice website etc. I even tried Primary Health Centers. Still no slots 4 2nd dose 3/n

Then I was told things are done via Party affiliation basis. My newspaper guy is a Leftist. He doesn't know my political affiliation. He had told me to go to an Apollo associate hospital in Town on a particular day & meet a so & so person. So, I went there. Paid the money & ..4/n

Then all got vaccinated except my wife who needed 2 more days to complete that 84 day rule. I know many in my family who tool 2 doses within 30 days in April. Anyway, I wanted to complete my wife's vaccination before I leave. So, again I started my "roaming" around in hospitals.

Now starts the twist. Vaccines are available for "rich" corporates. This is from such a rich vaccine centre. When I enquired with a "staff" he said it's possible. I have his photo but don't want to put the guy in trouble. There were many random "walk in" customers who just paid..

This is the parking lot of the place. I don't want to be sued and hence not naming the place. I'm not alleging anything other than sheer corporate greed and a vicious Union government paving the way for more #PMCares Electoral Bonds fund from private profiteers/hospitals.

To cut the story short, my son, thought out of box, and changed the district to Ernakulam (neighboring district ) & I got a private Multi speciality hospital for my wife. Once we reached there, I overheard a girl, telling the customer care officer that it has only been 64 days..

..64 days since her 1st dose. He didn't even blink, and just asked her to go and make the payment. You can imagine how livid me and my wife felt about hearing that. Everything is OK, when you can pay. I drove more than 140 plus kms , spend over 20 hours on a stupid App for 1 ...

For 1 bloody vaccine shot. This is basically a rant about the gross injustice, crass commercialism and the helplessness of ordinary folks due to Union and State government policies. By state govt, I meant the Left Party apparatus who help party affiliates via insider info.

How many of you remember during that clusterfcuk called #Demonetisation, the old generation banks like SBI, IOB, didn't have enough new currencies of 2K, 500 Rs while HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Yes bank always had new currencies. It was a scam then, it is a scam now. #VaccineJumla
