Get a Google acct (aka a gmail) (if possible)

W/ ur new Google acct, explore all the wonderful FREE services & products that u get access to all for the low low cost of Google knowing ALL ur data (so do not share anything private w/ the Google)
Specifically :
A) Sheets
B) Docs
C) Photos
D) Drive
E) Slides
F) Forms
G) Colab
A) Google Sheets

The much better Microsoft Excel

Used to make & edit :
- spreadsheets
- CSV (comma-separated value) files
B) Google Docs (short for documents)

The much Microsoft Word

Used to make :
- txt files
- *.docx files
- *.pdf files

Minus PDFs, the above are also editable in Google Docs
C) Google Photos

I assume this 1's self explanatory,
But pls feel free to ask for more dets (dets := details)

Highly rec (rec := recommend) syncing ur phones hard drive photo gallery to ur Google Photos acct in order to clear off any photos u do not need immediate access to
D) Google Drive

Similar to Drop Box

Essentially an FTP site but also a central hub to display all of ur Google Files (from Sheets, Docs, etc) in 1 convenient location
E) Google Slides

The much better Microsoft PowerPoint

Slides is a web app used to create presentation aids, also commonly called power points or slide decks

Unless u foresee having to give a public talk, u could forego poking around with this 1πŸ˜†
F) Google Forms

A web app to create surveys & quizzes

Great study aid

Very useful to perform market research thru surveys

Easy to navigate & small barrier to entry ... But would not call it "intuitive"
G) Google Colab

If u code AT ALL ... U would greatly benefit from learning the basics of Colab

Tis a web app to execute various programming langs

To date, I have merely run Python with it

& on that alone, highly rec it!
Pls comment below $this tweet if i missed any other superb Google web apps that are making the web a better place😎😁
Now to support my claim WHY Google's suite of web apps is much better than Microsoft' Office Suite :

Microsoft's costs $
But Google's costs access to my data

Note : i have complete control over what data i provide to the Google

Thus, my $ are more valuable to me than my data
2nd supporting evidence Google Suite > Microsoft Office :

Google has been designed from day1 to be web based and liquid in terms of collaboration

Microsoft was designed to be closed circuit within a person or business's env

As for me & my purposes,
I wish to make colabing easy
H) Gmail

Haha wow almost hard to believe I forgot $this web appπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

Admittedly i have not tried many other email pkgs, but gmail has still always come out as my fav against the few competitors I've used

Author #challenge

Build a novel where the POV bounces between 2 leads

Both of which suspect the other is an unreliable narrator

Maybe break the "4th wall" of the book???

In the end ... Gotta be ambiguous with no clear answer who was the reliable narrator
Oh!

And its on Mars

In a post apocalyptic setting

So each survivor has their own hut of shelter but the paranoia has torrent so vast, no one ventures out of said shelter w/o fully ID coverage ... No faces shown, communication is done thru a talk to text display in chest
*torrent to gotten

@RickHunter7 @catedempsey Well ... We could break this down #Math style

Let V be the formula that reps a products value its user

So V has multiple inputs
> Cost
> Ease of Use
> Scalability
> Functionality (aka it does what the user needs)
.
.
.

& probably many more inputs haha
<to be cont>
@RickHunter7 @catedempsey Well, lets assume V is a linesr formula, ie non of its inputs directly multiple another input

Instead, inputs only are scaled or multipled by #scalars or floating point nums

Thus:
V(..inputs) = {
A*Cost +
B*EaseOfUse +
C*Scalability + ...
}

<to be cont>
@RickHunter7 @catedempsey Cool!

Now that V is abstractly def'ed, here comes the toughest part:

Determining the coefficients A thru however many there were needed

Lets assume we can determine proper coefficients

Next, we need to assign each candidate a score in each category

<to be cont>

#lesson

discrete vs analog

+ / - volume (discrete) vs a turning-knob volume (analog)
& the analog turning-knob volume uses a potentiometer to set the volume lvl
potentiometer is an electrical control device to alter the resistance of a resistor
