AM Singhvi: Mr Nikhil informed that it has been kept for directions only. 9 months plus have lapsed. There has been bigger punishment than any other punishment. To be out of town and out of practice is easier, than to be in the same city where you’ve practiced.

Justice Kaul: We had said that see if you could use the good offices to see if something could be worked out.

Adv Nikhil Goel: It was reiterated again, by the full court.

SC: We will record that you don’t want to file any counter then? That full-court reconsidered the matter on June 20th and move ahead?

SC: Stay application in contempt matter to continue till conclusion of matter. Adv Goel says matter was reconsidered on June 20th and stand taken earlier has been reiterated.

SC: Synopsis need to be filed in advance so that arguments are confined to the synopsis

Justice Kaul: Mr Arvind Datar and Mr AM Singhvi we will hear your for one hour, between the two of you. He has said they (Gujarat HC) have decided to reiterate their position. They are not ready to show any compassion. so we have to move on this basis..

Justice Kaul: 20 volumes of SCC produced in a year and that is a problem. Cite your best judgment and argue and stick to the synopsis.

SC: Counter affidavits if any to be filed. Rejoinder within a week after that. Schedule of hearing has been set out. Short synopsis to be filed in not more than 3 pages. Mr Datar and Mr Singhvi to argue for one hour between them. Intervention application to take 15 minutes.

Sr Adv Datar: Like US Supreme Court we will argue for 50 minutes and reserve 10 minutes for counter or rejoinder.

SC: We will hear the case on September 1, 2021. After both the admission boards are over. Tentatively 12.30 but time is after the admission board wraps up.
