Confront Your Victim Mentality And Unlock Greatness

Easy tips to identify and fix your self-sabotaging.

// THREAD //
From age 18 to 36 I lived as if things were happening TO me.

Not for me.

I felt powerless. Negative. Pessimist.

If you're reading this, you'll know what I mean.

It is a coping mechanism we 'learned'.

It can be unlearned.

Here's how to recognize & conquer it:
1. You Dramatize Everything

You allow yourself to believe the tiniest inconvenience will

be the end of the world.

You always assume the worst.

Guess what?

The universe listens to those thoughts & gives you exactly that.

Your inner reality creates your outer reality.
Take 10 minutes a write down 5 things you are grateful for.

Focus on things you DO have.

Not on all the things you think you DON'T have.

Stop living in scarcity. Your life is abundant.

You just need to update your operating system a bit.

Start with gratitude!
2. You Feel Helpless

I always had the drive, the ambition, and the goals.

I know you do too.

Whenever you feel resistance (you will!) on your

journey you never feel like you have control over things.

You create stories in your mind just to justify a defeat.
Do you know what you want in life?

If you don't, create clarity! Create that vision.

When you find yourself making excuses & creating

stories to let yourself off the hook ask yourself this:

"Is this taking me closer or further from my goals in life?"

Question your stories.
3. Negative Self-Talk

I always felt like I had the talent.

I just couldn't stop the self-doubt.

If you don't believe you are good enough,

you will stay paralyzed and fail to unlock your potential.

It's harsh, but unfortunately, it's the truth.
Here's what I did/do:

1. Write down any negative talk as it comes out.

2. Ask yourself: "would you say this to a friend?"

3. Reframe to a positive affirmation.

Instead of "I'm fat" say "I feel I need to lose weight and I'm

going to work out more, let's kill it."
4. The World Is Against You

This defined me. The system. The rich. The left. The right.

Whenever I tried something and I didn't perform as hoped,

it was always 'their' fault. Never mine.

Hiding behind external factors to give up on your dreams

is weak.

You deserve better.
Understand this.

You are not fighting the world.

The only person you are battling with is YOU.

The universe isn't out to get you. At all.

Take imperfect action, give yourself permission to mess up,

and the universe WILL reward you.
This transformation is SIMPLE.

Is it easy? No. But it IS simple.

You probably tried a bunch of different things but you keep falling back into the same patterns.

Struggling To Stick To A Healthy Lifestyle?

6 Reasons why workaholics ≠ high performers.

// THREAD //
1. You say there's no time.

Let's be honest here: there is always time.

You still watch TV, you still jump on social, etc.

What you need is a framework that creates good habits.

Once you have a blueprint, making time gets easy.
2. You think your health isn't that bad.

After all, Bob is 50 lbs. heavier than you.

And Rose only sleeps 4 hours a night.

So you assume you're doing 'ok'.

Don't tolerate mediocrity.

You're creating greatness, not averageness.

15 simple tips to get healthy the right way.

Lessons I learned while losing 53 pounds.

// THREAD //
1. You start by un-learning everything.

Forget what the government, schools, news, and even your friends and family want you to believe.

Either they're making a profit off you or they simply don't know what they're talking about.

Do your own research.
2. You accept that there will be obstacles.

This allows you to prep for those bad days.

Just make sure you know WHY you're doing this.

If you mess up, tap back into your 'why' and get back on track right away.

The Simple 6-Step Framework To Conquer Your Health.

A thread on how to stop neglecting your health, without feeling overwhelmed.

// THREAD // Image
1. Figure out what it is YOU truly want.

Not what those around you want or expect from you.

You need to get clarity.

Do you want longevity? Simply lose some weight?

Be a better entrepreneur? A better parent?

Your call!

Meditate on this daily, and define your health goals.
2. Eat foods that actually exist in nature.

It's easy to overcomplicate nutrition.

Let's keep it SIMPLE:

- Eat a max of 3 meals a day consisting of REAL foods
- If your grandma ate it, go ahead and eat it
- Avoid anything processed/seed oils
- Don't snack in between meals
