Just discovered a rotting potato that had snuck its way behind a cupboard and I am no longer capable of functioning, that is the worst smelling thing on the entire planet without a shadow of a doubt. Pray for me.

Turns out the chemical that potatoes release when they rot actually puts out a toxic gas that is fatal when inhaled so it's been nice knowing you all
Thank the lord for enzymatic cleaners. Now it smells like nice fresh oranges.

U.S. CENTCOM Timeline on M/T MERCER STREET attack.

- On July 29th, Mercer Street came under attack from two UAVs while transiting int'l waters off Oman. Attack failed, crew recovered some debris.

- On July 30th, Mercer Street was struck by another drone, killed two crew.
- Crew of Mercer Street took appropriate procedures, gathered in a safe haven inside the ship, and informed Zodiac Maritime of an attack.

- Zodiac then informed the UKMTO, who then informed the HQ of US Naval Forces Central Command (USNAVCENT).
- USNAVCENT then directed USS Ronald Reagan with escort to close the coast of Oman, establish communications with Mercer Street, and render assistance. The U.S. also tasked a drone to the region.

The U.S. Central Command has released a statement on the investigation in the M/T MERCER STREET vessel attack.

CENTCOM says Mercer Street was targeted twice by two explosive UAV attacks on July 29th, which were both unsuccessful.
It added that the extensive damage caused to Mercer Street was the result of a third UAV attack, on July 30th. It says the UAV was loaded with military grade explosive, and resulted in the deaths of two crewmembers.
The explosion following the impact of the drone caused a 6 foot diameter hole in the topside of the pilot house, and badly damaged the interior. A Nitrate-based explosive identified as RDX was found on a chemical test, showing the UAV was rigged to cause harm and destruction.

An explosion was heard in the #Gaza Strip a short time ago.
