Online marketing strategies for business owners.

A marketing thread🔥🔥🔥
1. Focus on organic social media. This is free/unpaid marketing online through creating great content, building a dedicated community, and consistently creating conversation & visibility
2. Email marketing. Create emails that keep your community clued up on your offering. Convert your subscribers to customers and create a database of their contact details for future marketing opportunities. This also helps you build a wait list for future product launch’s
3. Upsell your products or services. These are strategies that get people to buy more by offering discounts etc for the same product in different quantities or value propositions. Other strategies that can be used are bundling & cross selling.
4. Micro Influencer marketing. Great way to access high value niche markets through someone with a highly engaged community. Their reach is saturated & focused, they are relevant in their community, and they have trustworthy relationships with their community.
5. User generated content & reviews. This is how you validate the credibility of your offering through other people’s experience of your offering. A concept called social proof.
When users create content or communicate their experience of using your product it’s a form of digital word of mouth, that generates free marketing for your business. Collect as many reviews as possible
6. Shareable content or giveaways. Create content or competition giveaways that people find value in and want to share. This allows your brand to access communities that don’t follow your brand accounts and leverage on virality.
7. Customise your content to accommodate different languages & cultures. If your offering is for diverse communities like South Africa, you want to make sure that your content doesn’t exclude prospective customers or create miscommunication.
Find creative ways to adapt content for different languages , cultures, and needs.
8. Video advertising . Your online marketing strategy needs an element of video content that showcases your offering optimally and creates conversation or interest around your brand. Video advertising on Facebook, & Instagram, & TikTok spread your brand messaging successfully

2. Audience
Each social media platform appeals to either B2B (business to business) or B2C (Business to customer). Make sure that your choice of social media reflect your objectives & the audience you’re trying to target.
