(1/15) The #Coordicide project at #IOTA is naturally an important milestone that will need to be delivered. But too often other progress on IOTA is overlooked. There are soo many pieces that together form the vision of IOTA. Let's have a look what my colleagues are working on!

(2/15) The #IOTA Engineering department has 9 different projects: #Bee, #Hornet, #Chronicle, #Firefly, #Client Libraries, #SmartContracts, #Identity, #Streams and #Stronghold. It also maintains our websites, the coordinator and nodes.

(3/15) In those projects, #Bee, #Hornet and #Chronicle directly build out the first layer of #IOTA. Implementing new features to the first layer for updates like #Chrysalis and #Coordicide.

(4/15) Users need to interact with #IOTA in a smooth and secure manner, which is where the #Firefly team has been delivering an amazing wallet. No crypto project can be adopted without a secure and easy-to-use wallet.

(5/15) Crypto requires insane security standards. Therefore #IOTA has dedicated work towards #Stronghold: a library that implements all security best practices for handling private keys. Useful for #Firefly, but also #Identity, #Streams and any other crypto project!

(6/15) Both IF and community projects need to interact with #IOTA in an easy-to-use manner. Interacting with IOTA has never been easier thanks to the #Client libraries team!

(7/15) Trusting #IoT and #Oracle data, requires data to be send across immutably and from a trustworthy source. #IOTA #Streams provides a secure messaging system that encrypts and anchors data immutability.

(8/15) Naturally, it is also important to identify that source. #IOTA #Identity allows people, organizations and things to build their own profiles, control their own data and share it in a verifiable and privacy-first manner. It is an entire framework for Self Sovereign Identity

(9/15) #SmartContracts luckily needs no introduction. #ISCP is following our #Coordicide approach where we don't just copy an existing solution, but rather design and build a scalable system that can be adopted as easy as possible.

(10/15) And that's just engineering! Naturally, education, community management, communications and partner projects are also huge responsibilities for the #IOTA Foundation. Including running a healthy and productive Foundation with good management and support.

(11/15) Our community team helps improve our documentation, making #IOTA easier to adopt for our community and partner developers. They also support projects like #DAO and manage #EDF.

(12/15) The Foundation has to inform our community and partners about our progress and technology. Communications is always underrated. Our blogs and slides are not made in an hour, but go through a detailed quality assurance process.

(13/15) Partner relationships also have to be maintained. We have dedicated resources to further #IOTA adoption in many different industries such as Trade & Supply Chain and Mobility.

(14/15) Last, but not least, #IOTA does many projects like #EnsureSec, #TradeMark, #Orchestra, #Selv and our own websites. These all require top notch UX and designs and are implemented or supported by our developers.

(15/15) In Sum, while #Coordicide is very important to #IOTA. There is so much more. This progress should not be overlooked and all of these projects are the foundation for #IOTA's future mass adoption. And who knows about what else is being done under NDA ;)
