Today marks the 154th Anniversary of the Canadian Confederation when the colonies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Province of Canada joined together to form the Dominion of Canada.
The land we live on & have the rare privilege to call home was originally inhabited by the Indigenous Peoples long before Canada became Canada
As we mark this year’s anniversary, it is important to note that the privilege of living in Canada comes with profound responsibilities.
First among many, is to acknowledge and reflect on the injustice and harm that Indigenous Peoples have been subjected to and continue to be subjected to in Canada.
