14 Reasons Erin O'Toole Conservatives (Harper Redux top to bottom) are BAD for Canada;

1. Contempt for Canada
Found guilty found to be in contempt of Canada's parliament, first time in the history of any commonwealth government that this happened. #Elxn44

2. Cheated in the 2006, 2008, 2011 elections
In & Out fraud 2006, followed by campaign overspending fraud, robo-call fraud; in 2011 federal court found willful violation of the $18 million election campaign spending limit which originally brought them to power in 2006. #Elxn44

3. Turned Canada's Surplus into Debt
In 1993 Conservatives chalked up a $38 Billion deficit. By 2006 @liberal_party had turned it around into a $16 Billion surplus. Four years later Conservatives returned Canada to a record $56 Billion deficit. #Elxn44

4. Oppose universal health care
Conservatives believe universal health care should be provincial, and want to break it up.

5. Shut down Women's and Minority advocacy groups
They cut funding for women's advocacy by 45%, shut down 12 out of 16 Status of Women offices and cut funding of legal voices for women and minority groups, including the National Association of Women and Courts Challenges Program.

6. Their Economic Plan is to the exclusive benefit of the wealthiest.
The rich get tax cuts that never trickle down while from 2006-2015 under Harper and O'Toole Canadians' average wages fell. Meanwhile Canada's 100 wealthiest persons got richer.

7. Loosened food protection regulations
They weakened regulations to bring Canadian regulations in line with U.S. Levels, which can be up to 100 times weaker Luc Pomerleau, biologist at CFIA leaked the pans, and was fired. Then the listeriosis meat outbreak killed 20 Canadians.

8. Refusal to sign UN declaration designating clean water as a human right.
They also failed to allocate any new funding for drinking water on First Nations reserves. They did nothing about 150 water advisories; @liberal_party has cleaned up 75% of them. #Elxn44

9. They eliminated the Canadian long form census
Because the data conflicted with their wide white world Christian only ideology. The long form census is how our government determines the state and needs of the country, and is used extensively in various fields of research.

10. They cut $1.5 Billion from the establishment of national childcare. #Elxn44 #cdnpoli #IStandWithTrudeau

11. They fought against global efforts to deal with #climatechange. They cut science research funding by $250 Million and muzzled scientists at Environment Canada, requiring that they obtain permission to do interviews, and screened their responses. #Elxn44

12. Tarnished our international reputation as Peacekeepers.

13. Mass Surveillance
They tried and failed (4 times) to create a law that would implement mass scale internet surveillance that would allow the government access to private information without any warrants, and without any court oversight. #Elxn44

14. They cut Canadian aid to the world's most impoverished countries
They cut aid to Africa in half, before finally freezing all foreign aid in 2010. Their vote base may not have cared, but the world did; and the result was we were booted off the UN Security Council.
