After spending 7 long days at 'One of the hottest places on #earth' #Jacobabad#Sindh, I am back to #Karachi with heavy heart. Being journalist traveling, visiting and exploring new places is really a fun, but I feel so sad after this trip. #IfYouLoveSindhVisitSindh
During this trip I met with all those people who work work under scorching sun, worst victim to #ClimateChange including #farmers#harvestors brick knil workers, traffic wardens, sanitary workers, lady health workers, polio workers, herders and others. #IfYouLoveSindhVisitSindh
These workers/public servant are provided any shades/cooling place during afternoons, no drinking water, no duty hour relaxations (from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM) and they are forced to rot under scorching sun. #ClimateChange#Jacobabad#journolife #IfYouLoveSindhVisitSindh

During my visit locals told me this is normal weather, my cellphone says local temperature is 40 °C. I was surprised. Despite being 'One of the hottest place on #earth' there is long hour power shutdowns in the district. alternate is costly #SolarPower #ClimateEmergency

Roads are broken in the city, #water is supplied on donkey carts, sewage water on roads every where. Nearby rural population is migrating to the city that has no basic facilities. Average temperatures cross 50°C and lack of power/water worsen situation
