/1 The recent announcement that @unizen_io is in collaboration with @sifchain is a very big deal. Here’s why; Unizen intends to build an ecosystem which will provide its users the opportunity to access liquidity on both centralised and decentralised exchanges.
/2 They will do this through modular implementation wherein liquidity on any connected chain (#DEX or #CEX such as #BSC, Sifchain or #Uniswap) can be accessed directly through Unizen.
/3 The reason why this is more than mere convenience based can be illustrated by the use of an example of the utility of the Unizen platform. Let’s assume a user wants to buy 1000 $ETH.
/4 What the system on Unizen will do is get you the best price for the order created based on things like price and depth of liquidity on its connected chains.
/5 Because of this, the user will not have to be concerned about things such as high price impact (1000 ETH is after all $3.5m) leading to a poor return and/or having to break up the number of transactions and having to pay gas fees on multiple occasions etc.
/6 This way, all connected chains (such as Sifchain) can benefit, since you will have liquidity being utilised across multiple chains and volume will be spread across multiple CEXs and/or DEXs.
/7 If successfully implemented, Unizen will likely attract and establish a large user base that will use the platform and ecosystem in this manner.
/8 This means that even users that are not familiar with Sifchain or other chains connected to the platform, will still contribute to the growth of those chains by using Unizen.
/9 Total locked value (TVL) on such connected chains will boom. Hence why in my opinion, this collaboration between Sifchain and Unizen is of great significance. It's all about liquidity on DEXs after all.
