Another long thread, alas.

This is a great illustration of Surowiecki's contempt for those who disagree with him about the #vax. Hilariously, he is the author of THE WISDOM OF CROWDS, but has decided the #AntiVax crowd has no wisdom at all.
Let's examine his sneers, as he tells us what we ought to think.

We should be opposed to Monoclonal Antibody therapy, because it isn't FDA approved yet. Implicit in this is the idea that one can't evaluate the FDA or its decisions intelligently. We are just too stupid for that
(unlike other crowds, which are oh, so wise).

He claims MAB trials started just before those of the #vaccines. I turn to Wikipedia, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monoclona…, and find that MABs were developed in 1975, and the developers won the 1984 Nobel Prize for Medicine that achievement.
"In 1988, Greg Winter and his team pioneered the techniques to humanize monoclonal antibodies," and other research on MAB use in humans went on throughout the 1990s. The 2018 Nobel Prize for medicine went to James P. Allison and Tasuku Honjo, for using MABs in cancer treatment.
So, we have another case of #EditingIsLying. Surowiecki is carefully implying that MABs are as new as mRNA vaccines. THIS IS A #LIE. MABs have been around for decades. But mRNA vaccines had just started with human experimental trials in 2018, says Nature nature.com/articles/nrd.2…
There's a rather large difference between "X was never tested till recently on this NEWLY DISCOVERED VIRUS NOT DESCRIBED TILL EARLY 2020, THOUGH THE BASIC TECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN IN USE FOR THREE DECADES" and "X was never tested till recently ON ANY HUMAN DISEASE, BECAUSE IN
ANIMAL TRIALS IT HAD VERY BAD OUTCOMES."

And using HORSE antibodies on infections goes back about a century. The tech lapsed when antibiotics came along, because those who received it became allergic to future infusions. But there appear to have been no other bad effects.
The reason people became allergic to HORSE antibodies after one or two treatment is because of differences between the structural parts of the horse and human antibodies. Since MABs are HUMAN antibodies, this does not occur.
We make antibodies ALL THE TIME to deal with infection, so The Science® says there is no reason to expect long-term adverse effects.

Let me throw in a personal anecdote: I have cancer.

Three times, tumors have been found in my liver. Two of them were treated with
an "experimental" procedure not yet approved by the FDA. How long have these experiments been going on? OVER TWENTY YEARS. I have little worry about long term side effects.
But I worry a lot about long-term effects of a technology that tells your immune system that your own cells should be attacked. Auto-immune diseases are quite nasty, and this tech INHERENTLY risks developing auto-immune disorders.
N.B., when the vaccines were rolled out, I don't recall warnings about side effects that we NOW know about, such as myocarditis. Looks like there's a lot we don't know yet. But Mr. Surowiecki doesn't want you to think about that, or anything else. #HaveFaith!
In the second tweet of his thread, Surowiecki again sneers at us poor, idiotic fools. Fauci has praised MABs, so we should automatically distrust them. Our rejection of Fauci's #Vax advice can't have anything to do with the all the times he's lied or reversed himself, and
of course we are incapable of independent thought. HOW DARE WE EXERCISE CASE-BY-CASE JUDGMENT?, you can hear him fume.

The third sneer has to do with the use of aborted fetal cell lines being used in both MAB production and the mRNA vaccines.
All #AntiVaxxers must necessarily have the same position on abortion, because we are all to stupid to think for ourselves, and anyway we peasant scum are not allowed to think. We must shut up and obey.
As I've mentioned before, I find the "arguments" of the #ProVaxxers the biggest argument against getting the jab. If The Science® was as clear and unambiguous as they falsely pretend, they'd use it. Their constant #lying tells me that what they're selling is fraudulent.

@eagle4congress .Long thread.

Seven years ago, my late wife was experiencing severe abdominal discomfort, and we sat in the ER for hours until a bed was located. Turned out she had colon cancer, and needed emergency surgery. There is nothing unusual about such cases.
@eagle4congress I too have gone to the hospital in severe discomfort and waited hours to be admitted and diagnosed for treatment, and all before anyone ever heard of the #Covid virus.

Chris stated that people were being "turned away" at FL ERs, and was asked to provide the names of hospitals
@eagle4congress where that was happening.

He doesn't. Instead he provides one case where a child had to wait, then be transferred because the hospital's pediatric surgery cases weren't up to the challenge. There is no statement from the hospital system about their ERs turning people away.

Sorry, but he's right. The Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that ongoing open hostilities or actual armed rebellion must be taking place for treason to occur. The traitor must make war against the U.S., or actively aid the foreign enemy/rebellion during hostilities.
Some references:

criminaldefenselawyer.com/resources/trea…

"Time of war. Treason by aiding the enemy can't be committed during peacetime; there must be an actual enemy for the traitor to aid. The requisite enemy designation typically requires a formal declaration of war."
legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/treason

"The Treason Clause applies only to disloyal acts committed during times of war."

"What constitutes giving aid and comfort to the enemy may be described, in general, in the words of Mr. Justice Field: ‘The term “enemies” . . .

I DID click the link, and noticed that the article defines the "fully" vaccinated in such a way as to minimize deaths from Covid after vaccination. Somewhat dishonest, that.
Reading further, there is this (my additional text highlighted). That's 11,037 deaths not mentioned in the part they wish to play up.
Further down, we find the following information.

.The vaccinations are going to be tested. THE EUA WILL BE THE TEST. Based on what little we know now, the results will be very bad for some children, especially boys.

This is one of the reasons I keep talking about World One, World Two, and World Three.
The parents clamoring to get their children enrolled in these trials are operating in World Two, the world of belief and emotion. They are terrified of the Great Killer Covid Virus®, and believe the Great Savior Vaccinations® will slay the evil virus monster.
Behind this is a belief, that it is possible to go through life without taking risks.

But the #CCPVirus is in World One, the world of physical law. In World One, the vaccinations have risks of harm, and will till we know far more about them, probably for decades to come.

A quick perusal of Wikipedia reveals:

a) At peak, less than one in 12 Israelis lived on kibbutzim; many of the kibbutzim were basically military settlements at the border. Today, only about 1 in 45 are kibbuzniks.
b) Only 9 years after Degania was founded, the first moshav came into existence (moshav being farming communities with some socialist features, built around family farms).

c) Moshavim outnumber kibbuzim around 450 to 270; people prefer their own homes & land.
d) 15 years after Degania was founded, the first kibbutzim economic crisis hit; they have recurred frequently.

e) The socialist egalitarianism of the kibbutz movement has been very badly eroded over time.

Most roads belong to the public, which has appointed the govt. to build and manage them. The right to set rules for their use follows from their public nature.

You are, however, free to drive drunk on the wrong side of the road on your own property.
Vax mandates expand beyond public property to all of life, and impose on people far beyond what is necessary to stop the spread of disease. The govt. arguably has the right to require tests, and to quarantine those that are infectious. It does not propose to do this, though.
Why it doesn't propose to do this I can't say. Perhaps it has something to do with its own statements that the vaccinated can still be infectious?

But whatever the reason, the claimed power needs legal justification that it very probably lacks.
