I rent, I had a scheduled inspection a couple of wks ago.

I have a lovely property agent & agency. Over the last few years we've built up a rapport whenever I've seen my PA from time to time.

Last time she came she told me that she won't be my property agent anymore

Disappointed, I asked why?

She said "I've thought about it for a while & I've decided to go into sales, this is the direction I want my career to go".

I told her that even though I'll miss her, I wish her every success in the world.

And, I told her how beautifully empowering it was to just hear her speak that way.

This is exactly what the women of my age fought for, so young women, our daughters & granddaughters can make these plans for their lives, their families, their careers. Their choice.

Every generation of women who came before us paved the way to make it that little bit better.

When young women tell me their career-path or like my daughter says, when I ask when she's planning to have children, she replies...

"I just want to work on my career for a bit then after maternity leave I'll come back to a better position & be where we want to be in life, more choices"

That just blows my mind & tells me that it was all worth it.

Still a long way to go but the future looks good
