The amb used Kosovo as an example; as I have he talked about this option many times where Kosovo took Yugoslavia to court and won. Somaliland case has a historical background that backs up for its independence combined with its grievance as Kosovo was.

Furthermore, Somaliland independent declaration was studied by AU in 2005 and determined that Somaliland independence not only is unique but it's justified and will not open other no state actors in the contentment to declare independence; not sure what's holding Somalilanders?

I don't believe Somaliland politicians are serious about independence and here is my 2 cents reason; why the Somaliland gov doesn't send yearly protesting letters to Somalia donors & UN Security Council for funding illegal Somaliland reps who can't even campaign in Hargeysa?
