Flying in the US gives me a sense of a nation struggling to keep going. Flailing, not advancing.
It feels like an exhausted country waiting for something better.
People aren't rebelling much. I have only seen one angry man, wearing a t-shirt designed in bullets and quietly furious at anyone who talked with him.
Otherwise people keep on, nudging alcohol or bad food, sighing or smiling under the benevolent glares of models.
Our @SouthwestAir flight ac hasn't really kicked in and we are taxiing for takeoff. Passengers swelter in good spirits.
Zeroth world is farther away.
