Experienced Scottish Ambulance crisis tonight, not for me.

Purple (highest) call at 10:39 for Point B.

Only a response car was available on entire mapped area at Point A. He arrived at 11:21.

He chased main ambulance, but not wasn't until 12:23.

Crews are run ragged.
It took 1 hour 44 minutes for an ambulance to arrive for the Highest Priority call type: Purple.

They then had to handover from response paramedic, get patient into ambulance & drive 33 miles to the hospital.

Over 2 hours in a life or death situation to even reach a hospital.
The sad thing is, this is extremely common in the Highlands. We have 1 central hospital in Inverness where most ambulances are based.

Smaller stations have 1 or 2, if they can be staffed.

The distances ambulances travel to even see patients is only growing.

#lewishamilton has been trending for over 24 hours since.

No other driver gets this treatment, not even Mazepin. Some blatant racism, some veiled using the crash as an excuse.

It's not helped by @MBrundleF1 or @karunchandhok blaming Lewis before properly watching a replay.
2/ Twice now @Max33Verstappen has tweeted after an incident gaslighting @LewisHamilton.

However, despite his team's condemnation of the racism towards #LH44, NOT ONCE has he called it out or asked it to stop.

He could be a role model by stepping up, but instead he cowers away..
3/ @F1's #WeRaceAsOne campaign is a joke. They watered it down to as sponsors & racists didn't like it being about racial equality.

Playing a 90 second scripted VT prior to a race is & showing the pre-race drivers kneeling for 3 seconds to hide drivers not participating is weak.

1/🇬🇧 The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation #JCVO has decided to invite another 200,000 12 to 15-year-olds with underlying health problems for Covid vaccines.

However, has stopped short of extending it to all teenagers.
2/ Instead, health ministers from all 4 devolved Parliaments in the UK will ask their Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) to decide. They will consider the impact on education which the JCVI did not.
3/ This means that approximately 350,000 12 to 15-year-olds with underlying health conditions will now be eligible for vaccination.

The JCVI experts did say the benefits to children do "marginally outweigh the risks" but that stopped short of recommending universal vaccination.4

Regardless of whether you agree with XR and their methods, you have to question the use of force on non violent protesters.

Telling officers to push it over put several people at risk of injury.

*If one if them is hurt, the Met *could face legal action & costs.
1 reason the Met could face action, is as a result of a Supreme Court ruling that said the blocking a public highway is a legitimate form of protest.

An officer in the video arrested 1 protester for Obstruction of a Highway, which a judge advised against
independent.co.uk/climate-change…
The Met and CPS have been repeatedly warned by judges that continuing to arrest XR protesters using Obstruction of a Highway, *may result in unlawful arrests.

That would result in legal bills & a squeeze on their already tight budget.
