SR Goel also said:

"The Arya Samaj was the first Hindu movement to take up a bold stand in this context. Maharshi Dayanand himself had showed up Muhammad for the sort of man he was."

in his book, "Freedom of expression: Secular theocracy versus liberal democracy."
SR Goel writes, "He (Dayanand) made a positive contribution when he pointed out that India had inherited a spirituality and a culture which were not only indigenous but also intrinsically superior to the imported creeds and cultures...
...He encouraged and enabled his people to reawaken to their own inner sources of strength, and hold their heads high in the face of foreign invaders. He was the first to use the terms Swadeshi and Swarajya.
...At the same time, the Maharshi restored the Veda to its rightful place as the permanent and profound centre of Indian spirituality, culture and social philosophy.
His people had lost consciousness of this centre when they had started drawing a sharp line between nishreyasa (highest good) and abhyudaya (worldly welfare), between here and hereafter, between spirituality and science.
They had become dwarfed in mind and emaciated in body because, to start with, they had separated these two from their unity in the Spirit.
He did something more.
He raised an accusing finger against the heavy weight of empty rituals and outmoded social traditions which were smothering India’s indigenous society. ...
The Maharshi appealed to his people to throw away all this dead wood, and start breathing again in the unpolluted air of that spirituality and science for which India had been famous in ages past."

Quoted from book "Muslim Separatism - Causes and Consequences" by SR Goel
Sr Goel showers praises for Dayanand in his book, "How I became Hindu" and says as below:

"It was years later when I read Sri Aurobindo's Bankim, Tilak, Dayananda that I bowed, in repentance and renewed reverence, before that fearless lion of a man who tried his best to ...
...rescue and revive the Vedic vision among the Hindus. A true understanding and appreciation of the crucial cultural role which the Arya Samaj played at a critical juncture in our national life dawned on me simultaneously."
I have seen this trend to quote Sita Ram Goel ji.

But people miss that his words can bring disappointment to even those who have begun to see him as Traditionalist as they are.
Point is that I personally have very strong idagreemnets with many Arya Samajis, when it comes to they declaring Vedas as non-Historical Document, Puranas as complete "Pakhand" and etc etc.

But It will be naive of me to declare Arya Samaj directly non-Hindu.

Once, it was considered that Greece was "mother of democracy". But recent discoveries have contested

If not all, "Democracy" seems to have certainly originated first in India as/ latest researches.

There was a period, when every Hindu Organisations including Ramkrishna Mission, Hindu Mahasabha, Arya Samaj spoke of Shuddhi (re-converting to Hindu Fold) & wanted Hindus to give away shackles of caste for same.

Instead of blaming them as reformist & Christian stooges+
One need to understand Politics, situation of that period.

Why all were on same page?

Recently we came across a case where a BJP’s MLA’s mother converted to Christianity.+
A thing was observed that a child deemed to be Shudra by birth ran into the Mandir & heavy fine was imposed (₹25,000).

It is high time to realise that such incidence don’t lead to conversion.

Well let me simplify my stand.

1) There is no historic evidence for Euclid

2) Elements was actually a work of empirical proofs & not deductive (1st proposition itself is proof of two arcs by empirical method)
3)Post Crusades (after 7 centuries), Church brought logic in play & declared that metaphysical Mathematics began with Euclid, although they couldn't notice that it was actually dealing with empirical proofs.

4)It became an error for metaphysics of church
but went on being unnoticed till 19th century.

5) It was admitted that other empirical proofs (such as the proof of Proposition 4 or the side-angle-side theorem) are essential to the proof of the “Pythagorean” theorem in the Elements.

Today, b'coz of our understanding of particular context, time, history wrt affiliations, may end up setting differences with Hindutva.

But get in drilled in mind, today they are attacking word "Hindutva",tomorrow they will do same to"Hinduism" too.

They have problem with Hindus.
They have issues with exactly that parts of Hinduism, that touched few parts of our history aided by British misinterpretations.

You claim that preserving "Jati System" would preserve "Hinduism", but there they are hitting you exactly there in name of Hindutva.
It is high time that we get over our obsession with seeing superiority as prescribed by Sampradaya that we subscribe too.

The merger of Sampradayas for common cause, with own ideas being limited to not superseding others should be the idea.

Reformation isn’t needed in process that has “evolution.”

Sanatana Dharma, is the address to Nature, which evolves everyday.

The more beings are born, more she evolves. Every extra breathing has a new carbon-footprint.
Reformation comes in play where things are actually “distorted.”

Our Shastras don’t have contradictions, but evidence of “evolution” which was always accepted by our Acharyas.
While Christians after reformation, got to be known as Protestant, our Shastras despite evolutions kept being accepted by Hindus. There contradictions didn’t being new sect each time.

Dharma is like water, for it is Santana.

Well @TheDeshBhakt ,"Hindutva"isn't only "Hindu Nationalism"as claimed by @devduttmyth, I must tell u that when Savarkar took it up in that form decades after it being coined (1892),it saved nation from the backlash of political Islam which could have resulted in Pakistan ++++
Hindutva is that force @TheDeshBhakt which is making us recognize our past, good and bad which had got crushed by the gang of Brown Sahibs.

Would @devduttmyth, agree with @AudreyTruschke who says that what "Nirbhaya" had to face is core of Hindus, citing Draupadi?
And @AudreyTruschke is one of the speakers and core behind the #DismantlingGlobalHindutva conference.

While she criticizes and abuses Hindu Sahstras day & night, she happens to be AUrangzeb fan girl, who was fan of sex slavery.
