If anyone still thinks the US are the good guys of the world consider the case of Catherine Gun.

She was a principled officer at GCHQ before the Iraq War, who (rightly) took exception to the fact the UK was tasked by the US to gather incriminating evidence on UN officials.

The reason the US wanted incriminating evidence on the UN officials was because they represented the ‘balance of power’ in the UN Security Council, and the US intended to Blackmail them to vote for war in Iraq.

That is the US was getting the UK to break the law, and be complicit in blackmail, in order to launch a war that would kill and displace (eventually) millions of people, in order to achieve US ‘foreign policy objectives’ (invasions that bring domestic electoral success)

It was been conclusively established that the US wanted to invade Iraq first, and sought excuses to do so, and allies, only after that course of action was a ‘fait accompli’.

The scandalous thing about the WMD, which has also been proved, is not that there weren’t any, but that the raw intelligence was Changed by the US and UK to make it look like they may have been a threat.

That is, the Western Nations of the world, ‘the good guys’, lied about the threat a nation posed, because they wanted a war.

They wanted a war because it was profitable for the political class, in terms of votes, and donations.

The US looked ‘strong’ again. Domestically.

None of this is ‘conspiracy theory’. It has been documented by respected journalists and depicted in movies such as ‘Official Secrets’ and ‘Vice’.

As the Colleary case, and the revelations of Julian Assange show, Western Security Agencies don’t report facts: they skew facts, and work in ways that will benefit their ‘bosses’, who they see not as the ‘people’ but the Government.

Not only should Katherine Gun be remembered as a great hero, the lesson of her case should not be forgotten. The only one who suffered a ‘career setback’ was Gun.

The key point about Katherine Gun, Bernard Colleary, K and myself is that the same people who betrayed the trust of the people they are meant t be working for are still running the intelligence services of Western World. And that the UK and Aust are slaves of the US, not allies.

Why does all this matter? Because the US, UK and Aust (only) say we need to go to war against China.

Again, it’s was a fait accompli as long as two years ago.

Who benefits?
Have we been here before?

Until there is some accountability in the intelligence and military establishment of the Western World for the mistakes and lies of the past 20 years, they should not be able to take as into a new war.

It’s not good enough putting whistleblowers who call out Govt lies in gaol, while at the same time never even holding inquiries into whether nations were lied to by the very people who are mean to protect them.

I’m not calling for lynching. We should always do things ‘by the book’.

I’ll face any questions on my beliefs and actions. Why shouldn’t those I accuse also face questioning?

Interesting Post Script: When I subpoenaed the former Chief of Defence Force, various Generals and Senior Govt Lawyers and a former minister to answer questions in my case, how many volunteered to turn up?

Answer: None (of course). Even with the biggest legal and PR team behind them.

And guess who paid for the QCs to argue that they didn’t have to come and answer questions?

You did.

Australia used to be the envy of the world, because of its rights, freedoms and amazing people.

Everyday I’m reminded we still have ‘the greatest people’.

But our Govt has let us down, and sold us out.

They need to go
