Meng was arrested for remote association with Iran, allegedly exposing HSBC to US sanctions. Isn't it odd US/Canada didn't arrest Spavor running a travel agency in China for tours in North Korea under US sanction. Kovrig is Spavor's handler, both exposing China to US sanctions🤔
According to US/Canadian law which is independent, Spavor/Kovrig should be more irredeemable serious felonies than Meng for blatantly violating US sanction law on North Korea which is stricter than that of Iran. Unless of course the travel agency is a cover for spy activities.
So the irrefutable conclusions are:

Spavor/Kovrig are ordinary businessmen. Then they should be arrested by Canada and turned over to US and go to US prison for violating US sanction law

Or

They are spies subject to China's National Security Law.

Either one or the other.
Since US/Canada think the two Michaels are innocent, then there's no doubt they are bona fide spies using travel agency as a front.

US frequently arrests foreign company executives and puts them in prison. These companies usually paid out colossal fines, were dismembered, appropriated or faded out of the market. No country has put up a fight & won except China.
Let's do the case study of France's Alsthom.

There was a popular saying that 1 out of every 4 light bulbs in the world is powered by Alstom's technology.

Alstom was once the pride of French industry, with operations in more than 60 countries around the world,
an annual turnover of more than $16 billion and more than 110,000 employees. It is the world's No. 1 in hydropower equipment, No. 1 in conventional islands for nuclear power plants, No. 1 in environmental control systems, No. 1 in high speed trains,

China's COSCO has acquired 35% stake in Container Terminal Tollerort in the German port of Hamburg. Without this deal, the German port won't be able to compete with other European ports under more efficient Chinese management. So despite anti-China forces, the deal went through.
China is allowed to acquire 35% of the stakes, for the simple reason 35% of the business comes from China.

Note China's port efficiency is the highest in the world. There's a huge jam at the Los Angeles port now, causing US supply chain interruption, inflation, consumer panic
and social unrest...

The Port of Los Angeles with 82 shore bridges completed a record 9.2 million TEU in 2020; China's Yantian port (YICT) with 85 shore bridges completed 13.34 million TEU in 2020.

U.S. ports operate from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.,

Is it normal/ethical West uses a kid suffering from Asperger/OCD/Mustism for environmental propaganda & China bashing? Eerie singularity due to mental disease reinforces cultish hoax of Oracle Deity Maiden [Virgin Mary] uttering holy nonsense "when necessary."
Do you think a mentally challenged kid can understand the following:

China’s per capita carbon emissions are 160 tons, while the global average is 210 tons. In contrast, the US’s per capita carbon emissions are 1,250 tons and the G7 countries’ average is 950 tons.
China’s per capita carbon emissions are far below the world’s per capita level. These data are scientifically proven.

All the environmental NGOs and scientists know this. Why do you think nobody tells Greta who persists in uttering utter nonsense on China's carbon emissions?

Myth of #freecapitalism (thuggery) revealed.
US is no longer resorting to industrial espionage/hacking. It's pressing a gun to the chip makers' heads to request handover of trade secrets "voluntarily" in the name of "transparency" & "chip supply chain security".
Can you imagine the CPC asking US companies to voluntarily handover their trade secrets? US is doing it to foreign companies without being condemned.

The global chip shortage crisis is still not eased, and the US is forcing TSMC, Samsung and other semiconductor manufacturers:
"Within 45 days, hand over inventory, orders, sales records and other confidential data."

"If you don't hand it over, we have other ways to 'force' you to do so." "We don't want to go that far, though." On the grounds of improving the "supply chain transparency" of chips.

#MengWanzhou #TwoMichaels
All MSM condemn China saying the fact that two Michaels' release coincided with that of Meng proves two dudes are innocent hostages. The logic is really strange. The Michaels admitted their spy activities. They are proud of their dangerous 007 CIA
career for democracy. MSM reduced them to insignificant hustlers. They must be hurt and indignant! To show the world their true caliber, Kovrig gave a solemn military salute on arrival.

China repeatedly stated Michaels' arrests had nothing to do with Meng.
However US/Canada wouldn't leave China alone to deal with the Michaels, for the reason Michaels are high level spies under the direct order of CIA. Kovrig was the CIA handler of Spavor. Kovrig used to exercise his spy career under the diplomatic cover and immunity

#MengWanzhou case explained

In short, the scenario is as follows:
1/ US intended to strike dead Huawei by all means no matter how underhanded. 5G will create 5-10 trillion dollars' wealth and 10 m jobs for China and propel China to No. 1. Huawei must be killed by all means.
2/ US must find a way to arrest Huawei CEO Ren Zhengfei or a Huawei key figure and coerce Huawei to handover the technology or face prison and colossal fines. US successfully did this to France's Alsthom. US intends to reproduce the scenario.
3/ Huawei CFO, Meng Wanzhou travelled frequently around the world on behalf of his father Ren Zhengfei. It looked retty easy to arrest her. She was thus designated as the target. US approached numerous countries for the dirty job. All countries declined except Canada.
