#MengWanzhou #TwoMichaels
All MSM condemn China saying the fact that two Michaels' release coincided with that of Meng proves two dudes are innocent hostages. The logic is really strange. The Michaels admitted their spy activities. They are proud of their dangerous 007 CIA
career for democracy. MSM reduced them to insignificant hustlers. They must be hurt and indignant! To show the world their true caliber, Kovrig gave a solemn military salute on arrival.

China repeatedly stated Michaels' arrests had nothing to do with Meng.
However US/Canada wouldn't leave China alone to deal with the Michaels, for the reason Michaels are high level spies under the direct order of CIA. Kovrig was the CIA handler of Spavor. Kovrig used to exercise his spy career under the diplomatic cover and immunity
while working for the Canadian consulate of Hong Kong.

China deemed the nature of the arrest of Meng Wanzhou as terrorist kidnapping to intimidate Huawei/China into abandoning high-tech development. China urged the unconditional release of Meng. US/Canada said OK
with the condition of the freedom of the two Michaels, multibillion US$ fine (Mafia criminals usually ask ransom after kidnapping) and Meng's admission of guilt. Meng and China adamantly refused. Meng said she would rather die than betraying the interests of her country.
Imagine if China accepted the conditions, it would be like accepting another insulting and humiliating inequal treaty! Chinese people don't agree.

Since the two Michaels are high level spies risking their lives for democracy, US/Canada were desperate to obtain their release.
To reassure China there was nothing shameful in the exchange, US cited diplomatic precedents saying it was customary to exchange hostages during the cold war. US and the USSR exchanged 25 times their respective spies. In the end, seeing China not relenting,
US/Canada gave up other conditions. They wanted only the Michaels.

China hesitated. However increasingly the two Michaels were becoming nuisances. They attracted overwhelming international media attention. China treated them as protected species like pandas, but still
one can't guarantee that things don't go wrong. If they commit suicide, matter will get out of control. These spies were useless but took up a lot of resources... It cost tens of millions of dollars just to keep them alive peacefully in prison.
So maybe it was a good idea to get rid of them.

So at the relentless beseech of US/Canada/CIA, China relented. Immediately western MSM said their release proved they are innocent hostages. What kind of logic is it? China was coerced and pressured into
the act in order to protect the human rights of an innocent Chinese citizen!

However China must admit retaliatative defensive hostages are pretty useful. There are thousands of Michaels dabbling in 007 adventures in China. All these are precious assets. If Russia needs help,
China can export a few Michaels. China could create a hostage exchange market under the condition that all trading nations must abide by basic moral principle, ie, abstaining from arbitrary kidnapping of innocent citizens in the name of law of long-arm jurisdiction.
Authentic spies for retaliatory self-defense only!

BTW, US official position is the same as China's. No such thing as hostage diplomacy, purely an independent legal decision based on the merits of the case.

Myth of #freecapitalism (thuggery) revealed.
US is no longer resorting to industrial espionage/hacking. It's pressing a gun to the chip makers' heads to request handover of trade secrets "voluntarily" in the name of "transparency" & "chip supply chain security".
Can you imagine the CPC asking US companies to voluntarily handover their trade secrets? US is doing it to foreign companies without being condemned.

The global chip shortage crisis is still not eased, and the US is forcing TSMC, Samsung and other semiconductor manufacturers:
"Within 45 days, hand over inventory, orders, sales records and other confidential data."

"If you don't hand it over, we have other ways to 'force' you to do so." "We don't want to go that far, though." On the grounds of improving the "supply chain transparency" of chips.

#MengWanzhou case explained

In short, the scenario is as follows:
1/ US intended to strike dead Huawei by all means no matter how underhanded. 5G will create 5-10 trillion dollars' wealth and 10 m jobs for China and propel China to No. 1. Huawei must be killed by all means.
2/ US must find a way to arrest Huawei CEO Ren Zhengfei or a Huawei key figure and coerce Huawei to handover the technology or face prison and colossal fines. US successfully did this to France's Alsthom. US intends to reproduce the scenario.
3/ Huawei CFO, Meng Wanzhou travelled frequently around the world on behalf of his father Ren Zhengfei. It looked retty easy to arrest her. She was thus designated as the target. US approached numerous countries for the dirty job. All countries declined except Canada.

Do you think Jews would invite Nazi Germany to build their Grand Synagogue?

Algeria asked China, supposedly carrying out Muslim cleansing (#Uighurgenocide) to build world's 3rd Grand Mosque to last 500-1000 years which China successfully accomplished in 2020.
2/ Project Overview from China's CSCEC website:

On February 8, 2012, China Construction signed a contract with the Grand Mosque Construction and Management Authority of Algeria for the construction of the Grand Mosque project, with a main contract value of USD 1.5 billion.
3/The original design consortium is KSP-KUK from Germany and the current design institute is EGIS from France. The project adopts the cooperation mode of general contracting and implements European and Algerian standards.

China intends to put a stop to the US freedom of navigation based on environmental and safety concern.

Everyone knows the so-called freedom of navigation practiced by the US/West is military threat & provocation. If nuclear powered aircraft carriers of an enemy country dare to
cruise up and down the US coast, US would have considered it a declaration of war.
According to the Amendment to China's Maritime Traffic Safety Law which have gone into effect since Sept. 1st, five types of vessels must be declared prior to entering China's territorial waters:
submarines, nuclear-powered ships, ships carrying radioactive materials, ships carrying chemicals, toxic and hazardous materials, and other ships that are deemed to be dangerous. Failing which, China's maritime police could intervene.

After "let CIA hunt for Covid19 origin", now it's "let lawyers hunt for the origin".

So US courts can supposedly subpoena China, a sovereign country to produce evidence & if China refused, courts could enforce judgements. Pompeo has forgotten China could reciprocate.
US did this to Iran and confiscated the Iran assets in the US.

China is not Iran. Whatever US does to China, China can reciprocate.
Imagine Chinese courts subpoena Fort Detrick and Ralph Baric of University of North Carolina to produce evidence... Failing which Chinese courts render default judgements....

The simultaneous mirror legal proceedings must be very interesting to watch.
