Most anti-natalism (particularly from TRADS!) is the position that women should get married and have children—but not waste more than even ONE day of their youth on their husband than necessary to exercise fertility.
@0x49fa98 Secular feminists emphasize that women should be banging lots of dudes, then find a nice pliant provider— @sherylsandberg of Facebook put it this way in Lean In:
@0x49fa98 @sherylsandberg Traditional Conservatives, like @DennisPrager assert that the 70% of no fault divorces initiated by women (Dennis, that's just like those 'elective abortions', btw—the woman wasn't abused in anyway, but she was...unhaaappy!) are no biggie!

townhall.com/columnists/den…
@0x49fa98 @sherylsandberg @DennisPrager Secular Feminists and Traditional Conservatives (people who don't serve women and people who conserve nothing about tradition) look around, blinkered, at all the men uninterested in marriage and thus form a natural alliance to try and shame men into such an arrangement.

Before @getswype fires me for always being on mute camera off in standup, let's talk about how Swype will enable the pseudonymous economy and Exit from legacy institutional control of your life. Image
Today when a business employs you, you are almost certainly a W-2 employee or 1099 contractor. Your real name, your emergency contacts (i.e. your spouse, your parents, your siblings), your face, phone number, home address—all of these are reported or become highly discoverable,
Furthermore, these things are now linked to you for people who are not even your employer. Anyone online who discovers this info can also find your employer with a little digging.

In the Before Times, we had phonebooks but did we have roving bands of cancellation fanatics?

The leverage the State—the one that failed on covid, the financial crisis, student debt, housing policy, infrastructure, endless foreign wars—has over you, is your life is enumerated in its currency; your labor, assets, transactions.

This is a shadow form of citizenship.
There are people from the EU who, if here on holiday for instance, can swipe their bank cards and pay US merchants dollars. There's a conversion from euros to dollars, bc the numbering systems depend on 'purchasing power parity' and govt buying and selling in FX markets.
A European who does equivalent labor for equivalent effort to an American historically has found that he does about 1.15 to 1.50x better in terms of prices. He might be significantly underpaid in total terms, though.

But his economic life, his holdings of 'wealth', are euros.

Just like #January6th the #Afghanistan withdrawal is a media-State production

On snapchat's map, or via firsthand Afghan accounts we can see Kabul is peaceful and Afghan daily life goes on—only the airport was chaotic *bc of US promises to 'evac' everyone*

similarly, on
January 6th, most of DC, and the US writ large, was just business as usual. You can go back and see your credit card activity or texts or work emails and see what you were up to, lol. Outside of a few LARPers 'saving democracy' (some in the know, some useful idiots)—calm

Simply;
No one was ever going to 'overthrow the US govt' by breaking into a random Congressional office and tossing papers around. That's now how #Insurrection works. The US is 300MM+ people over 4 MM sq miles. It has a military with nukes lol. What a totally moronic proposal!

and yet..

I am long America—I am short the US:

Decentralization of finance (including reduced reliance on the inflated US dollar), exit from the media-polity's fixation on the circus-politics of wokes via DAOs/pseudonymity, more homesteading, less renting, personal farming & manufacturing
The US polity has become a gray, fearful, rich, stingy, fat, withered paranoid country club.

Americans are cocky, daring, arriviste jocks.

Financially, technologically, to some degree territorially, but SPIRITUALLY—the US is holding Americans back:

While it's not strictly true that "America is just an idea" (cf. Ilhan Omar lol), the notion that Americans are a nation which embody an *archetype* is compelling

It's more than Faustian, it's something even more;

Conservatives understand porn's ills; photorealistic imagery of the sexual act and masturbation.
They understand it robs men of drive and respect for women, besides the rape & sex trafficking involved.
They find allies in Feminist on these grounds—what about casual sex? Harmless?
A litany of disposed sexual encounters is somehow *less* psyche & soul warping? Lmao.

Conservatives missed the boat on anti-porn crusades, just as on anti-prostitution and anti-abortion crusades, bc they surrended a long time ago on the fundamental issue of the "sexual default".
city-journal.org/html/policing-…

@HMDatMI wrote about the default in the context of #MeToo — the feeling of being 'raped' many women report is not accidental; neither male misunderstanding

But this is just a facet of the problem—Whatever mental damage porn provides, cheap sex does worse

Western caloric excesses, sexual debauchery, feminist 'empowerment', educational slog, commuting culture, worker abuse & corporatist favoritism, healthcare & housing costs crushed the fertility rate—among immigrants, too.

More immigration means only a more alien society.
Leading up to 1924's restrictions on immigration, Americans, i.e. English stock Protestants, were angered with *exactly* the outreproduction of oligarch's labor pets—displaced in farm & factory; when their own future got no investment/noblesse oblige.

What @mattparlmer and this commenter don't realize is from the 1850s to 1920's America imposed ever greater numerical & even racial limits on immigration as the tide grew, essentially cutting it off in '24 until '65, all the while bullying non-assimilants.
